I use that big ol' tape gun, the ATG. I have been using it since 2006 or before. I would not go back. It is easy to use, I haul it to crops and the tape refills last for ever. And I do not find it heavy or awkward to use at all. like she said

ATG, glossy accents, glue dots, and foam tape are my go to adhesives for scrapbooking.

Me too, also the photo splits. I hate to think about when they run out. Guess I will go with the 3L line of adhesive when I run out. I am too klutzy for the ATG.

I am a big fan of the ATG tape gun! I also throw in glue dots, glue pens, xyron, and glossy accents as needed.

Good news for you! I don't use CM adhesive but was at a crop last week and my friend, who used to be a CM cons and is now with Heritage Makers told me that they are coming out with a new line Our Memories For Life spearheaded by former CM Rhonda Anderson to bring back CM favorites with slight changes to avoid copyright infringement. It includes albums, pages, adhesive, card stock, with more to come. I'm still in touch with my CM rep, who became an Ahni and Zoe rep, now a new HM rep. I haven't seen any of the items in person yet, but the tape runners look the same. It looks like a cute line for a beginning scrapbooker or someone who like it quick and easy. (We know that doesn't apply to anyone here! ) I saw the albums and pages. They are WAY better than the Ahni & Zoe offerings. I use CM Albums and side loading sleeves which I was told will be coming! That makes me very happy!

I mostly use Glossy Accents by Ranger. I use the Glue Glider Pro for very large sheets of paper. And I use 2way glue by Tombow to keep my Cricut mats sticky.

I use a variety of glues. I scrapping friend told me she's never seen someone use as many glues as I do and I think she's right. I use the ones listed here, but I'm going to try to give my top ones:
For Tape I use ATG, Liquid I use Scrapperfect's Best glue Ever, The rubber cafe's Scrap happy Sheer Glue, Ivy Scraps' ScrapFusion PA, for clear dimensional glue I've moved towards solely using CraftFantastic's Fantastic Glaze & Glue. Glue Dots are great. Good luck with your search for the perfect glue.

I love glue dots too for a lot of embellishments. I haven't heard of several of the adhesives listed -guess I've been stuck in a rut for a long time. Looks like I'm going to have to go shopping and check them out. Not sure liquid is for me. I'd probably make a huge mess!

Liquid can be messy, but the ones I mentioned have a small tip so that you can control the amount of glue released. I think that's key.

I have a pink ATG. I too, like the OP, thought everyone was using them but they were way too big and awkward looking. And then after reading the eleventy-billionth thread at the old 2Peas about them, I caved and bought one. And I LOVE it. It IS big (bonus: hard to lose on a messy desk, and my desk is never clean...) but it is NOT awkward at all. People say it's hard to load but if you follow the arrows, it really is pretty straight-forward. I also really love Aleene's Acid Free Tacky glue. I use it for almost everything, even paper a lot of the time. I probably only use the ATG for paper now because the acid free Tacky Glue is so much more expensive than the regular stuff, and I hate buying a bottle of it every month! I mean, how much paper could I buy with that 6$

I am anti ATG because once it's down it's stuck for good. I like that with the tabs or squares you can adjust them if you adhere them lightly when you first put them down. I sort of disagree. I actually move my ATG-stuck stuff around quite a bit. I just don't use a lot of tape and I don't press it down firmly. I peel up layers and move them around quite a bit -- I'm a very slow, fussy, indecisive scrapper. When I'm certain things are in the right place, then I push it all down.

I use a variety of adhesives, depending on what I am adhering. My go tos are ATG, pop dots, glue dots, Glossy Accents, photo mounting squares, Xyron and Tombow adhesive runner. I also have a couple of different things I have picked up because they were cheap & use those too.

I use the ATG for making cards but for scrapbooking, I prefer something that gives me a bit of leeway if I decide to move things around. Plus I don't really feel like lugging my ATG to crops when I already have so much other crap with me. I've used many adhesives over the years. Recently I bought the Teresa Collins Mega runner by Xyron but I'm forcing myself to use up old adhesive refills before jumping into this new one. Right now I'm working through Hermafix tabs and once I use up all the refills I'll probably get rid of that. I also love my Xyron X (and other sized Xyron machines), glue dots for ribbon, embellishments, etc., Scor-tape for boxes, mini albums, etc., Crystal Effects or Tombow wet glues, Tombow adhesive runner, Stampin' Up! foam dots. Oh and I used to use the Glue Glider Pro until we got a batch of refills where the tape would break in the middle of the roll. After that my friends and I gave up on it.

I still use my Zig 2way biggie glue. It's worked well for me over all these years.

I love using different types of adhesive - my favorite small/on the go adhesive is the duck adhesive (sold in multipacks at my J's) and the adhesive I found at Marshall's (I stocked up a while back on dot roller and permanent). I am working thru my stash and marshall's is inconsistent about having adhesive available so I am thinking about the ATG. I have a glue glider pro that was given to me a few years back and try to get the refills with a coupon. I also love glossy accents and glue dots. For pop dots I only like using the Stampin' Up dimensionals.

I have an ATG but I haven't started really using it! I'm still using Tombow - but I have a million refills. When those are gone maybe I'll use my ATG.

I use my old favorite--the Tombow runner. I like the idea of the ATG's but they're just to hard for me to manage. The Theresa Collins one is a little smaller so that's something I've thought about trying.

I have the ATG but I didn't really like it. I am sure it was me but it kept coming off track and it was a PITA to load. I bought the Theresa Collins tape runner and I love it. It's smaller and the tape pops right in no fuss. I also use a ton of other types glossy accents, beacon, mod podge dimensionals just depends on what I am working on. I have a Raskog cart near my table with a basket with all my glues and adhesives in easy each.

Red ATG for me. It's definitely my go to adhesive. I do have Xyrons. I mostly use the X and old 510 when I need them. I don't think we can ever have enough adhesive, no matter what one choose.

Tombow is what I've been using most recently (until my kids used it up). I recently bought a multi pack of refills at a clearance sale, and I guess I didn't read the package carefully enough as it's "removable". Ugh. I can't take it back. What do people use "removable" tape runner for? Is there any use for it? I'm going to have to check out some of these other options for scrapbooks

Mostly Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, they have refillable dispensers now. I love their 3D Foam Squares plus shapes that you can use as embellies Such good quality. For wet adhesive, I TOTALLY recommend ScraPerfect " The Best Glue Ever" - it dries clear. The fine tip is wonderful. You can make glue rounds/lines - big and small by using letting it dry on a sticker liner. Adheres to plastic, metal, fabric. I used a whole bottle on various projects and lasted me three to four months! LOVE that stuff!

I use the Scotch dots adhesive. It's similar to the Herma dots except the cartridge refill is simple to change. Pop the old one out and pop the new one in. I buy mine at Michael's.
