I did a 365 project for 2011 and my intention is to do one next year. I didn't use any specific supplies I just made layouts with pics for a week or sometimes a month or even several. I found it much more enjoyable once I gave myself permission to do how I pleased. I have a few of the pages on my blog if you're interested in having a look. I just wondered if anyone else did the project this way. I also have a great little app ready for my next effort, Project 365 Pro, it allows you to output a month at a time if you just want to create 12 layouts for the year. www.scrapthology.blogspot.co.uk

I liked your photo strip LO, that's a great way to get a bunch of photos on the page. Nice job!
Question for you - what makes this Project 365, specifically? I thought P365 was a photo per day project. Just curious. Do you still take a photo every day but just choose a dozen or so to represent the month?

Hi Carolyn, thanks and yes it was a 365 project in that I took a photo a day but some pages I just used a representative few. The album I still called 365 and I've got a file of the years pictures on my PC.

It's great once you find a way that works well for you, isn't it?
I have done P365 since about 2009. The first year I copied the standard format that was common at the time, and I tried to take one photo every day - that was so hard! I did traditional pages using paper and a 12x12 album. I never ended up finishing the album although I did take photos almost every day. I might get around to finishing it one day!
The next year I did a digital version using a template that I made myself in Photoshop, and scraplifted from someone else.
Every year since then I have created my own template, a different one each year.
Then this year I decided to do what you did, I am just making (digital) layouts in whatever format takes my fancy. It's fun, but to be honest it takes longer than using a template. For me anyway.
Oh, and I also decided after the first year that I wasn't going to put myself under the pressure of taking one photo per day. I still use about 7 photos per week, but some days I might use 3 photos and other days none. It was so liberating when I decided to do that!

I like your idea much better! I tried P365 a few times because I forgot one day, so I just gave up. I even tried filling in my missed days with photos my sister or mom took, but they use the camera a lot less than me so I would feel defeated with an empty day and stop for the year. I'm going to have to give myself permission to skip a day or so and try it again!

I started photoaday in 2009 and did a 12x12 per week. My pages were just randomly sectioned to 8 parts. 1 space for my week no. and 7 for my daily pics. Any remaining space was just decorated. My format changed over the yrs. since discovering n using pocket pages in 2012, it is so much easier n am loving it!
oh and I use my IG to post my photoaday. Serves like an online record / diary for me. (Same time sharing my life with my family & close frens) And I just print my IG pics at home on my Selphy. Makes it easier to keep up
