It's funny to read these comments. We have a Bosch and I don't love it but I'm obviously in the minority!

Not sure on brand, but was very particular!! I don't like handles that sticks out. Like the stove oven. And the steam had to point down. Our first dishwasher ruined our counter. The steam went up.

Us, verbatim. We have all GE Profile appliances (came with the house), and this is the first appliance we've had to replace. LOVE my Bosch!

Kitchenaid Architect Series...stainless interior...cannot hear this thing running. LOVE IT! Never ever buy a GE. Just don't. I've had GE in 4 different homes, different models, all sucked!

I have a KitchenAid and I like it. I don't love it. Previously we had two cheaper dishwashers--a White Westinghouse that leaked constantly (we put a rolled up towel down every time we used it) and a Kenmore that was at the top of Consumer Reports ratings. I loved everything about that dishwasher. My parents have the same one which they bought around the same time and it's still going strong.
We got rid of it, however, when we remodeled our kitchen. I have a mid-higher priced (at the time) stainless model (stainless interior, too). I have no issues with how it runs or cleans-- it's quiet and does a nice job overall. What I dislike is the quality of the plastic parts. We've had to replace the rolling parts for the top rack two times now, and the sorter pieces in silverware basket will not stay in place on their own. We have had to use cable ties to make them usable, otherwise they would fall in to the basket every time we put a piece of silverware into it, which was totally counterintuitive.
Other than that, it's been just fine. We did not opt for a Bosch when looking because dh really wanted a machine that had a heat option, and we noticed that the Bosch's seemed to be smaller inside, especially the top rack. This machine seems to suit our needs quite well, though for some reason I'm still nostalgic about my old Kenmore.

After a horrific experience with a Maytag, we bought a Miele a few months ago. I love, love, love, love my dishwasher. I also had a nightmare with Maytag. The model I had was made with a horrible control panel that would fizzle out months after the warranty expired. Now I have a Bosch. It's so quiet that it has a light that shines on the floor while it runs.

My Bosch dishwasher is now 14 years old, and I can honestly say I've never had any problems with it. I love it, and will definitely go for Bosch when I do the kitchen in my new house.

We have a Samsung (bought all the appliances together when we moved in three years ago) and I love it. Best dishwasher I've had-Bosch and Maytag were my last two houses.

I got them to replace the first control panel after I complained on social media how I was disappointed in how Maytag CS handled my concern. The second panel died after 13 months.

Interesting, they didn't care that I complained on Social media. I also replaced the control panel twice. Grrrrr
