Let's have a frozen thread here as I know there are many of us who need the support of this thread to help us keep our wallets closed.
I am just headed back into the freezer after buying product for five layouts after finishing my 100 layout freeze.

Well I will be placing a ctmh order in July and August. I want the July stamp of the month and I know there are some new things I will want in august including the new Cricut cart.
I am horrible at staying frozen but have vs been spending a lot less and always loved reading this thread. I hope more people migrate here and will post on this thread. I also hope to see some challenges here for using your stash.

Copy-and-pasting what I posted at Two Peas mere moments before things were locked down tight...
Irish Eyes, congratulations on making it to 100! How exciting!
Meanwhile, I am failing miserably at being frozen. Thickers at TJ Maxx, need I say more? And I have been tormenting myself with looking at scrap goodies on line. And OA Public Library finally came out! I have not succumbed to that yet but I'm dyin' here. I feel like a junkie (well, what I imagine a junkie feels like) I actually feel a little physically sick.
On the more positive side, I have been able to help a Pea out with an RAK of some paper she was looking for and have been stuffing my PIF thread packages full of extra goodies. I'm going to be selling some of my scrap stuff at a garage sale later this summer so that will get some of it out of here.
Deep breath.

Dulemama,
That is good progress to sell some and gift some of your supplies. Thickers at TJ Maxx would have done me in too. I love those things.

I just went frozen about 3 weeks ago after walking in my room daily and being overwhelmed with the amount of product. I do not need another supply. So, I am trying to go as long as possible without buying anything but adhesive or albums. Wish me luck!!

Glad this thread was started!
I'm not quite ready to hop back into the freezer yet (see the thread on next scrappy purchase), but I'll be sure to check in here when I am!
I even saved my Frozen Pea badge, so I'll be able to add it to my signature when the time comes.

Momof3pits:
That is what got me in the freezer - being overwhelmed by too many choices. While choices are good - too many choices make me feel frozen in creating - it takes too long to figure out what to use.
Using up my stash is very freeing, much more so than adding more product to an already full room.

Bringing over my goals and commitments from Two Peas...
So, what I'm committing to at this point: 1. No spending on scrap stuff other than adhesive, page protectors, or albums, but ONLY if NEEDED! No stockpiling!
2. Get my room cleared out and organized. No more than 3 sheets of the same paper if it is double sided and no more than 2 if it is single sided.
3. Any gift cards can only be spent on tools. I have plenty of supplies but there are a few tools I am thinking about getting.
4. I don't want to set a goal as far as number of layouts or projects I get done but want to make a goal to spend a half an hour a day, working on projects. That should make a dent in my supplies without the pressure to produce.

I'm not quite frozen, but I do think about my purchases much more than in the past. I guess it's easier to take a pause before I buy, now that I don't have any brick and mortar stores near me.

I need to be frozen, except for the CKC convention at the end of July. And I have a $10 coupon at AC Moore and my LSS that expire soon. Can't waste free money. So other than that, I have plenty of stuff.

I also need to be frozen, I always seem to tell myself once I buy "this" I won't buy anything else for a month, it doesn't seem to work for me though!

I thought I read somewhere that someone told her about the new place.
Hopefully she'll find her way over.
LOVE your avatar, btw, dald222!

I've been thawed since February. I say thawed because no new products bought from brick and mortar stores but I still have my scraptastic kit coming to me - but nothing more than that. I do both PL and regular 12x12 SBing. I scrap regularly and still have not made a dent in my stash.

I'm frozen again as of July 1st. The news of 2Peas closing brought fear that my LSS might close if I didn't continue supporting them, so I went there today.

Hi, Catherine! I really need to be frozen. I went to the Echo Park sale and only spent $32. I was quite proud of myself. Now I need to be frozen for a long, long time. My supplies are spilling out of my room. Nice to "see" you.

Another one who needs to be frozen. I have a lot of stuff but keep getting tempted. I have sold a bunch of stuff recently though. I just feel too overwhelmed when my stash gets too big. Just too many temptations out there.

Anniefb, I get too overwhelmed and want to get rid of everything and start over, but that isn't the answer. I need to use my stash.
