I'm baking sugar cookies later this afternoon and I think I'll use the last of the turkey I made Sunday for a sandwich when I'm done. I'll heat up some pork and beans to have with it What are you having for dinner tonight?

For the first time in what feels like forever, I'm going out with a few ladies for dinner! I've already scoped out the menu and I think I'll be getting a salad topped with chicken and dressing on the side. I'm trying REALLY hard to keep my eating in check. I had a salad for lunch but the menu where we're going isn't exactly offering up many healthy choices.

The flank steak we didn't eat yesterday, assuming the weather holds up. It had better, because today would be the last day I would feel comfortable eating it! I guess I could try to make it stovetop if we can't grill.

We are just about to have baked chicken breast, potato wedges and corn on the cob, followed by strawberry flan and cream.

We're going to a movie tonight, so we will grab a bite at the nearby burger joint before hand.

I'm thinking about making spaghetti - to use up some sauce in the freezer that I made last summer.

Cold pizza. I have a meeting tonight after work, and will eat some pizza I've had in the fridge her at work since Friday. Should be tasty.

Pancakes and bacon! Kids got to choose tonight's dinner. . I'll probably throw some fresh fruit in there, too.

Well, since dd is working and ds is going to a movie, it'll just be DH and I. I'm thinking about take-out from somewhere or grilling Italian sausage. I've been in a sucky cooking slump lately. It seems like no matter what I cook, it turns out like crap. I guess I've lost my confidence/mojo. I've never been a great cook, but I've done okay. Not these days though.

We are melting in a heat wave at the moment. My kitchen is so warm that I couldn't face cooking so it was ham and cheese subs stuffed with loads of salad at ours tonight.

I'm thinking some kind of pasta salad. There are tons of little bits of things in my fridge I could throw in there. Better get the pasta going, I guess, so it has time to chill before dinner.
oh, scratch that ... my sister just called. She wants to go out for Mexican food so she can drown her troubles in wine margaritas. (That's a joke. She'll drink one, order a second and take two sips, then she'll be done drinking for the night.)

I'm making chicken Lombardy that was on my FB news feed. I think it was posted here too. Brown rice for DH and roasted cauliflower and Brocolli for both of us.
Well, never mind, I forgot to take the chicken out. Bummer! So I am making Salmon patties with baked potato for DH and the same veggies.

Going to be hotter than hell today. When I left the house at 9am it was already 90 - ugh. Therefore, tonight will be a quick and easy dinner where I won't have to stand in the kitchen for hours.
I found a recipe for a low fat carbonara, dh and boys will have it with pasta and I'll have zoodles

I pulled some ginger lime chicken out of the freezer..I buy chicken in bulk and portion it out with marinades, freeze them and then pull em out the night before and it thaws and marinates the next day. Then my mom called me and asked if DH was taking me out for my birthday and since he's out of town, her and my dad insisted on taking me out for dinner. So we are going to Cracker Barrel. And for dessert, I stopped by a bakery by my work that won an episode of Cupcake Wars and they give you a free cupcake on your birthday. I forget where I park my car and keep putting my cell in the fridge, but dang it if I remembered about the cake!

I usually shop everyday for dinner ingredients but I just didn't feel like it today I dug around in the fridge and found some fresh roasted chicken and mozzarella ravioli that we got from Costco the other day so we'll have that tonight with a red sauce ... how much do you want to bet that at least one of my family members will complain
