I usually glue the face side of the chip board shapes to the back side of the pattern paper with matte Mod Podge, it usually only takes 10 minutes to dry. Then carefully cut around the edge with an exacto and use my trusty BG files to smooth the edge. Then a little ink around the edges and it is ready. If it is a really detailed shape like a swirl or flourish, paint or embossing powder work the best. I too have a drawer of raw chipboard shapes I need to use or toss. I mainly don't use them as I forget about them. Maybe if I put a small tin of some shapes I really like out on my desk, they will be there in sight and handy to grab. And maybe get used! This is what I have to do with most of my supplies. I have everything organized, but I like having stuff out on my desk. If I see it, I use it. I have a few bins on my desk with random supplies that I pick from. I always rotate that stuff with the stuff that's "put away" so everything gets used. I have a messy organized system going on. lol.

I have painted, glue paper on it, and glittered it. I'm going to check out the Blue Fern suggestions--Thanks Patter

These are all great ideas. I'm so glad to see all these suggestions, now maybe I can use up some of the chipboard/grungeboard I have - there's so much if it. I swear, I think mine is having babies; I use it, but there's always more the next time I go use it. Lol
