xyron 1250 adhesive machine. it's the cartridges that are crazy expensive for just being adhesive.

Every single solitary thing I ever bought. I can sit back impassionately and just think I was insane to buy this crap and the amount spent on it is insane. I'm ashamed of myself.
The worst is a kit club I bought for a year, and virtually nothing ever touched. Insane.

I'm a simple scrapper, who purposely uses few tools. My largest investment is QK dies, especially the first few alpha sets purchased a full price!

Oh my goodness yes. I have way too many and now I don't even use them because I upgraded to the silhouette!

Magazines, if you can call that a tool. The amount of money that I spent on various magazines was insane.

For me it would be the umpteen different types of storage. Lots I still use but lots are stored in the basement. How's that for irony?

xyron 1250 adhesive machine. it's the cartridges that are crazy expensive for just being adhesive. I forgot about this. I had one too, purchased in 1999. The refills were so expensive I hated to use it. Eventually, I let my brother use it for his classroom, then I threw it away. Probably in 2009. I bought a very sturdy paper trimmer, that only cuts a ragged edge (antique/torn). I haven't used it in 5 years, but I can't part with it.

Probably my Cricut cartridges. I have 125 of them. Also my punches, dies, and… well, I am good at buying on sale, for sure.
My friend just got a Cricut and her husband offered me $40 for all of my cartridges. Really? I have an Explore, so those aren't going anywhere.

Anything xyron. I love them in theory, but HATE spending the money to buy the refills.

I have paid a lot of money over the years for Xyron X refills. LOVE that thing for tiny diecuts! I have various manual and electronic cartridges for dies, but I wait a loonnng time before I purchase them.

I have loads of punches, but I do use some of them (Yep not all). I never pay full price either, but all total there is a boatload of ca$h tied up in the big Rubbermaid tub that houses them. I don't buy into a lot of tools but I have a drawer full of punches yet always pull out the same two. I still have these old whale of a punch flowers that were all the rage for a while, so of course I had to have them, but have rarely used them...
I have a small version of that flower. I love using it to make multidimensional flowers!

I'm about to hang my head on this one. The Cropadile is my shame. I haven't used eyelets in quite some time. So really, it is a large expensive paperweight.

The really only expensive tool I own is my Silhouette. I purchased it years ago when they first came out. It's gotten lots of good use and is still going strong, so it was a good investment. There are some good tools listed on this thread, and I find myself thinking "I could use one of those!" I can waste money just as easily as the next person.

Creative Memories cutting system. Never used it. Not once. Lol! I have this too and also have never used it. But at least I didn't pay for it. My cousin bought it at a demonstration and gave it to me after she realized she would never use it. She figured at least I was scrapping, while she didn't even take photos. As far as things I bought, I'd say the Cricut. I waited years after it first came out. Read all the posts on 2 peas, and saw all the neat stuff people were doing with it. I can't get the hang of it and I guess I'm not all that inclined to spend lots of time figuring it out, so it sits.

Bind It All along with the wire spines I bought to go with it. I used it for a few mini albums but I started doing more 12x12 albums so there it sits, mocking me.
