Oldest item in your stash? Will you actually use it?

My oldest items are those pre - cut rectangles and triangles from CM over 20 years ago! Why do I still have? Will I use them?
Well I still have them because I have some unfinished albums from that time period when life got rough, and I need to go back and finish and I guess I am thinking I should finish those books in that style rather throw in a new current style on the opp site page? Lol....

My oldest items are the CM shape cutters and corner rounder. I bought them in the 90s. I do still use them the shape cutters not often but occasionally I need a circle.

I have a couple of paper pads I got at Tuesday Morning back in 2009...still occasionally use a sheet out of them, but the kids mostly use them for art projects.

I still have (and use) some of the glue dots I purchased when I first started scrapping - the kind with the individual dots on the waxy paper. I also still have the small rectangular "wacky widget" that you use to remove the dots from the backing!

I'm guessing I have a few sheets of paper I bought in 1999/2000. I definitely have a few Club Scrap kits from that time period. I have mostly purged my old stuff though.

Oh dear, probably stuff from 1997 when I started scrapping. Eeek! I took a class with Creative Memories that year and later became a consultant with them so you know I have a lot of "antique" items in my scrap stash!!!

My decorative scissors have got to be the oldest things I have. They were one of the first things I bought and thought it was so cool of me to cut around the pictures with them..What was I thinking ?? LOL

I have a few pairs of decorative scissors that have survived the purges. Two scalloped pairs and a pinking edge. I havent used them in awhile, but i do occasionally pull them out to use, especially on cards. They date back to 2000-2001.

Probably my pinking and scallop decorative scissors. The oldest paper line I own/am hoarding are the original OA lines. I use bits and pieces here and there, but they survive all my purges.

All of my tools are antiques! I have the original CM circle cutter that came with a pane of glass, and all of the plastic ovals with the little cutter button. I will most likely never cut another photo into an oval (yikes, there are way too many of those in my old albums!), but I do pull out that circle cutter from time to time.

I still have the original guillotine cutter from CM plus the cutting system and corner rounder. Still use them all.

I have SU! ink pads and stamps and Marvy pens from 1991 or 1992. I only bought pre-folded cards back then so it I only had stamps and inks - how boring, right? That foray into cardmaking didn't last long. It was all so flat and boring.
My CM Multi-Purpose tool was my first scrappy tool purchase in 2006 or 2007.

Probably paper - some are still full sheets from back in the mid-90's.

I donated most of my antique items to Goodwill, but I do still have the first plain jane post-bound albums I ever bought (circa 2000?). Can't bring myself to move them on, I might just fill them one day....

I have the CM cutters which I still use (the circles, which my consultant tried to talk me out of because she said I'd never use them - I would have been better not buying the ovals). I also still use my scallop and mini scallop deco scissors.
In paper the oldest I have is a couple of sheets of MAMBI floral paper that is dated 2004. It's tone on tone and came in multiple colours. I still have a sheet of red and blue left and I still love them and know I'll find the right layout for them one day.
I was hoarding a sheet of 7Gypsies striped paper from the days when paper wasn't true 12" which I finally used up this year. I still love that paper too.

I have a few Club Scrap kits that I've never used. The paper is so nice and heavy that I should get them out and use them for a base or something!

I also still have the small rectangular "wacky widget" that you use to remove the dots from the backing! Oh my gosh, I still have some of the dimensional glue dots, too. I got rid of a bunch of old sheets and random adhesives when I had to pack up my stuff for our remodel. I still have my CM circle cutters, but haven't used them years. I also have some foam letter stamps that are at least ten years old. I keep thinking I might use them.

Not my absolute oldest but pretty old - my coluzzles. I recently used them to cut circles for layouts.

some making memories rub ons. Oh gosh I have these too! I remember hunting for so long for the Heidi Swapp font. I really should either use those or toss them.
And I have some of the old Gin X ones too - they still go on beautifully after all these years.

Although I got rid of my eyelets, buttons, brads & metal embellishments from when I started back in 2003 still get used. I never got rid of those.

I still have a healthy inventory of Chatterbox (including pads of the original rooms) & KI Memories lines from their heyday & frequently incorporate a patterned paper &/or embellishment into my pages.
