Ok, I wonder if it’s just me, or has anyone else experienced this?
I have “won” free stamp sets from the same small company on 3 separate occasions, and in spite of contacting the owner as instructed, I never got any of them. The first, about a year ago was one of the random prizes you get when you comment on the blog. For the next two, I won the challenge where you submit a card, two months in a row. Presumably those 2 were for some kind of merit, and I’m flattered. But if you aren’t going to send the prizes, just say so, please!
By the third time I was wondering if there was a problem with my email address, which does not end in .com or .net like most people’s do. So I sent the information from 2 of my other emails just in case. Still, nothing.
I don’t want to mention the company by name since I still buy a lot of stamps from them. As a matter of fact, I ended up buying the sets that I wanted as prizes. I’m on the automatic list (club) where I purchase 3 full-size and 1 mini set each month, and they get to my house before they are available in their store. My name and address are in the database. I mention the name of the stamp company in each blog post where I’ve used them, and I’m in their Flickr group too. I’m a GOOD customer!
When you win stamps and the instructions are to contact the owner with your information, is there something other than stamp choice and delivery address that is needed? Was I supposed to offer shipping? Is it just me?
OK, my whine is over.

That sucks that they aren't following through. If this was a contest that I had to enter, I would stop entering. But since you like their product and continue to purchase I'd stay being a customer.

That's a bummer. I think I would just stop entering their contests. Can you tell if other people who have won have received their prizes? I might send one last email to them saying what you said here. That's just weird that it has happened 3 times.

I would contact customer service and let them know what is happening. I wouldn't just let that go. Maybe a brief mention of the Better Business Bureau would give them motivation.

Personally if I continued to win but never received what they promised, I wouldn't want to buy their product. I would wonder about their overall customer service. So sad you have had this happen so many times. Not good for sure!

I would stop entering their contest, to prevent myself from being let down.
But I'm sorry OP. That really stinks.

I would be tempted to ask on their Facebook or Twitter. A public forum may give them more incentive to respond. That is ridiculous and I wouldn't be happy.

That really is weird. I've done various contests, drawings, etc. in the past in conjunction with my business and would never, EVER flake on sending out a prize in the age of the Internet when people could very easily trash a company's reputation online in a matter of minutes. Even if very few people entered, I would still run the contest/drawing as advertised and award the prizes as advertised.
ETA: I agree with asking about it on their blog, Facebook or other more public venue to see if you get a response.

I would ask... Not knowing why I wasn't getting my prizes would bug me to the point that I'd want to know even if I didn't like the answer/consequences... If it's a mistake, then I get my prizes and feel good about shopping there, and if it's a scam then I don't want to buy stuff from them...

Failure to provide prizes as promised is grounds for a consumer complaint.

I would try customer service as suggested with a mention of BBB. 3x is not a mistake, it's a blatant lie in my book.

For me, I'd stop entering their contests and I probably would never buy from them either. I'm one of those "vote with your wallet" sort of people. I know my personal boycotts probably go unnoticed but it makes me feel better. Let it go, they have no intention of making good on these "supposed contests". Stop setting yourself up for disappointment and no more contest entries with them, ok? (said while gently wagging my pointer finger ) It keeps happening because you keep entering their PR stunts. Walk away and don't look back.

If they have a forum, I'd be interested to know if other people are receiving the promised prizes. Three times makes me think they don't follow through. (I know you don't want to say but I'd be interested to know what company it is.)

I won stuff from two different garden girls at Two Peas and they never sent the prize. Both were from them, personally, not a prize from Two Peas. I didn't think it was my job to remind them. I moved on, but obviously I haven't forgotten.
That sucks OP. That company is using the contests and you for their financial benefit.

I reached out to the person who won this month, and she hasn't heard back yet, but she's going to let me know what happens. It's only been a week for her!

That's pretty crappy from especially from garden girls since they represented 2Peas. This happened to me on another message board and I reached out stating that "I didn't receive anything and perhaps it was lost in the mail and didn't want you to think I was rude for not acknowledging/thanking you" which was met with no response but I got a peek at her character and have low expectations if I were to ever participate in one of her challenges again although I don't plan to do so.

Why wouldn't you? 1) Neither prize was that exciting. I could take it or leave it. 2) As GGs they represented 2peas. One was a challenge or chat on either NSD, or some other event 2peas was hosting. The other was a challenge the GG posted on her own on the GS board. I get that life gets in the way, but these a full grown women. If they are so busy, maybe they should make themselves a to do list. When I hosted a couple of challenges on the stamping board, I followed through to the end. Even informed one of the winners that I would be taking care of it when I got home from vacation a week later. It is not that hard. Now, an actual business, I probably would email to ask.

Update:
I reached out to the current link-up winner, and we sent messages to the owner via Facebook, who said she hadn't gotten the email. (There were at least 3 of us on that thread on Facebook).
She responded and sent me my prizes. Woo hoo!
But I am sorry it came to this.

She knew she offered the prize, and she knew she hadn't mailed them. So that excuse makes me think she was hoping you wouldn't push the issue. I wouldn't spend my money with her again.
