praying for you and your family. My son was born at 34 weeks at 4 lbs 11 oz and he's about to start kindergarten next week. NICU doctors and nurses are amazing, so you will be in good hands!

@carblover443 - I've been thinking about you. Everything OK? We were in the hospital earlier today...I hadn't felt any movement in several hours and had exhausted all the usual tricks up my sleeve to get him to move so we called the dr and he had us come in for a check. Heartbeat looks great, everything looked good. So we are on our way home now. I'm reassured for now. Here's hoping he goes back to his regularly scheduled programming after this.

Prayers and positive thoughts. I remember how acutely I began to worry during my first pregnancy. You will worry all the days of your son's life, may they be long and healthy.

You've been in my thoughts since you first posted. Little Luke better quit worrying his momma, or he's going to be hearing about his entry into this world for years to come! Thanks for taking the time to update us. Can't wait to see pics of the newest refupea baby.

You are in my thoughts. I know how scary these things can be.
Take comfort in two things: growth ultrasounds are frequently wrong as it depends on the tech to measure accurately and it is known that there is quite a bit of human error. The second thing being I didn't have a growth scan and my son was born at almost 42 weeks weighing 5lbs 12oz not even on the chart so less than 0 percentile. His growth had slowed somewhere along the way for an unknown reason. Today he is 2 months old and growing like a weed.
Hugs mama!

Sending positive thoughts!! My DS was 45 cm and 2,5 kg, and the doctors believed he had been born at least a month early (which he wasn't). He is now 16 yo, 180 cm (5'11") and doing well. You and Luke will be in my thoughts ((hugs)).

Even post birth measurements can be wrong. My BFF had a high pg, delivered a healthy boy. A few months later her pediatrician measured her ds's head, says it's big, names some possible issues, & says we'll measure it again next visit. At his next visit, it was still big, but not bigger, the dr. looks at my friend and says, well, you have a big head, too!! So rude? Her ds is now 17 and healthy, & still has a big head. Prayers & well wishes for your whole family!!

I know things change over time, my daughter was born at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland AFB in 1999. She was both feet down breech, so I was scheduled for a cesarean 8 days before her due date. That morning they checked her and said she'd be about 7lbs 3oz. She was born an hour later weighing 9lbs 7.5 oz!
I've between thinking about your family everyday!
