. . . make sure I'm scrapping so the hobby doesn't go away all together. Before they closed I had organized my stash. Since the news broke I placed an order with 2Ps, organized my digital photos and ordered prints to scrap, and signed up for a crop in September. What are you doing?

I don't think we are at risk of the hobby going away altogether, but there are definitely changes on-going. I know what you mean though by your OP.
I did manage to squeak out 3 pages this weekend!

. . . realize how important it is for me to have a place where I can connect with other people who share my connection to scrapbooking!! I already knew it was important to me, really, but wow-- I was surprised at how sad I was to hear the news they were closing. No other forum IMHO was as good, so I am very grateful that I can now come here.

I have to say I'm thankful for my stash. I'm not a fan of a lot of the new products out. I am also happy this place popped up. I really like the format better or the functions. I have definitely been more active on this forum then 2ps.

I was inspired to support online stores more. Also, I feel like just being scrappier in general because I was reminded of what it meant to me. Great thread!

It has made me shop more because I worry that if Twopeas could close, anyone could close. I am scrapping every week and using product. It also made me feel that if I'm not an active member of the board, it could go away.

I agree...I have scrapped more at home since they closed (which in turn has caused me to shop more since they closed!)

I definitely feel more of a focus toward participating in both the hobby and the online stores more.

I think I've missed the videos most of all. I've been looking to you tube for scrapbook process videos, not to copy, just to keep my mojo going.

I've been to my LSS twice (which is an hour away one way). I've also scrapped more and I'm thankful we reassembled the Peas here!

Order from other sites, like ACOT and Craft Channel. I am inspired to visit my only LSS, soon, as it is 90 minutes away. Also glad away from the politics and general bad vibes that 2peas has been giving off in the last many months....poor customer service, high shipping, and general feeling amongst the members that something was not right....glad that people that are here are happy and want to be here! I know I am!

I had quit going to the general scrapbook board at Two Peas because I hadn't been scrapping for so long, I thought I would have nothing to contribute and I wouldn't even know what everyone was discussing. When this board started, I checked out the General Scrapping Board and it inspired me to start scrapping again.
Now I'm becoming obsessed! I'm watching videos, ordering products, printing pictures, etc.
I really appreciate how helpful the seasoned scrappers are being to those of us who are scrapping again after a long hiatus.
