I would cry. Hahaha. We're empty nesters and I miss the days of chaos and constant noise. Silly I know.

I would sleep in and then sew while watching/listening to some of my favorite movies. I would eat my favorite "I'm alone and can indulge" foods. One night would be shrimp nachos and the other would be BBQ fries.
I'm hoping to have a weekend to myself sometime in October. I can't wait.

With my schedule, I have those alone days every week!
I clean, run errands, grocery shop, read, and catch up on DVR shows. I am also in school full time, so a good chunk of that time is spent doing homework.

I had to come in and be the one raunchy pea who posts: Masturbate!! 2 1/2 days of pure pleasure. My legs would be sore. Instead I took the day off to see if I can really tackle my hoard before I make it on t.v.

DD9 was recently at a 3 night sleepaway camp. I made recipes that I had wanted to try, I watched a bunch of TV, and was just generally lazy.
Enjoy!

I would defnitely enjoy long, hot, uninterrupted candelight showers!!! The rest of my time I would probably clean or work on household projects. Maybe invite some friends over for adult beverages and conversation.

I had 4 days to myself in May over the Memorial Day weekend. I worked on Thurs and Fri but once I got home on Fri afternoon I didn't leave my house again until monday. I read, worked out, cleaned up some messes that really needed to go, hung out in my DDs eno (hammock), watched tv and napped. I was able to stick with eating grilled chicken and veggies the whole time which was my choice bec it made it so easy to count calories. No one 'needed' any other food and I could do it my way. Between the working out and that I managed to lose 2 lbs while they were gone. I'm an introverted homebody and it was heaven to have all that time by myself!

For my half day I would get all my chores done. Then I would sew, while catching up on everything waiting in the DVR for me to watch. Of course not - you should be giddy! Sounds heavenly. Enjoy your time/freedom I'd do the same. I wouldn't be able to relax unless I got the chores done and the house in order first.

so jealous! personally, I would do all of the projects I haven't gotten to yet- refinish dining room table, make a riddling rack wine holder, refinish an old dresser, order pizza whenever I didn't want to cook, drink wine and watch the movies my husband would never want to see.

I'd get my house cleaned before everyone left, so that I could enjoy the days without having to worry about housework! I'd probably scrap, make cards, catch up on some shows, take a nap, eat whatever I want, etc.
Sounds like fun!!

I would make sure that the house was clean and laundry done first. After that just eat MY favorite foods, scrap, watch tv and enjoy my "alone" time.

Do all the little things that needed doing on the half day and then I would be in my work room for the remainder doing what ever I wanted. Catching up on some scrapping most likely.
Would love this time alone!

Eat a bunch of stuff Dh doesn't like or can't have a lot of like pasta.
Go to craft stores/bookstore like you thata's fun. Then you don't have them saying 'are you done yet or calling you are texting you! lol! Or go clothes shopping just to try stuff on or even shoe shopping it's rare and hardd to do that with Dh.
Cleaning too - play loutd music! but that doesn't take very long but for some reason it easier when they aren't there. Have fun and enjoy some quite time.

If it were me - I would go and get the foods that no one else will eat, and stock my fridge, then get my sb stuff out on the kitchen table and not have to pick it up all weekend! Naps would be in order too as would sleeping in.

I would dig out a good book, have all these ideas that I'm going to go get biscuits and gravy at the local diner etc etc. But then I'd end up cleaning the whole darn house, doing yard work that I'd waste the whole time "working" that I'd never enjoy the time. Ask me how I know this And no be giddy and enjoy your alone time.

I would be giddy also!!
I would no doubt plan to do all kinds of wonderful things, including getting all the housework out of the way early, exercise, read a book, do some shopping, more exercise, cook, catch up with friends...... But in reality I would probably end up spending 2.45 days here on the internet, then run around like a crazy woman cleaning the house for the last 20 minutes so the others didn't find out I'd just spent 2.45 days on the internet!!

I'd leave - I'd take my bike and wander with no destination in mind, no worries of being home to make dinner. I'd come back before dark, soak in the tub, watch a bit of TV and do it all over again. Or maybe I wouldn't even make it back but find a hotel and turn around in the morning and work my way back. FREEDOM!
A completely quiet house makes me stir crazy. I honestly can't be home all day. Even when the weather in Chicago turns nasty in the winter I have to get out.

I would sleep. Uninterrupted. With the TV on, so if I woke up for a while I could watch Investigation Discovery.
