Does anyone know if there is a way to batch delete projects on SC? I'm doing it one by one and OMG...I just want to "check all" and delete at this point. I admire your determination. I've thought about doing it too, but decided it was too much hard work. If you don't have classes to lose, I'm sure if you just ask them to delete your account they would do that. ETA: I had deleted my avatar & changed my name, planning to just ride off into the sunset, never to seen again, but (as is often the way with me) I couldn't resist just one last dig on Rob's farewell thread.  |

Oh and one of my comments in that locked TOU thread got deleted. It was completely civil and professional. But still got deleted. @devildog I agree with everything you wrote. Life goes on after SC. christyharris I understand...I still go to SC first thing in the morning. It will be quite a habit to,break. What did you say that they deleted? i think that is so rude of them the board is getting boring though so maybe it will become easier for us all to leave it All it said was that censoring talk on the boards wasn't going to stop the talk. It also said that if they wanted to curtail the negative discussions to take care of their internal issues. I think I also said something about consistency on the TOU - that if a negative thread about shipping was going to be locked or deleted that a positive one should be as well. the board is boring now...I'm able to slowly stop visiting there so often. |

I considered having them delete my account (I don't have any classes or digital files there) but since Ali's site uses the same sign on and I do have stuff with her , I wasn't sure what would happen over there. I have 2 folders left to delete...will probably work on that today. I Too have had to bite my tongue a few times...I just keep telling myself that a) nothing said will make a difference and b) it just doesn't matter. |

As I've stated before, I joined Gossamer Blue. Whilst I'm happy with the kits, there is no chatter on the boards. No enthusiasm. I have realised that I need that. I don't have any IRL Scrapbooking friends. I recall when I first started with SC in 2008, the boards were so active, I mean so active, it was almost like a 'chat'. They would have had a fraction of the membership,they have now . I agree - the enthusiasm is really what sold SC stuff. The boards are so infectious and it's easy to get swept up in the excitement of everything. I noticed, when I was out there yesterday, people are trying to be positive and enthusiastic but it feels forced. Like when Mom yells at the kids and everything is awkward so a few siblings try and lighten the mood for the really upset ones. But, the difference is that we are all adults giving money to this company and to be reprimanded like we're kids who just don't know better, really just rubs me the wrong way. Also, I'm curious as to where these "personal attacks" on SC staff has been....I haven't seen any personal attacks in any threads I've participated in. Or, do these people consider just addressing April a personal attack? Is she some kind of royalty and I missed it? Why can't we address the owner of the company in which we are investing hundreds and thousands of dollars? but, I digress. I need the enthusiasm, too...but I need it to be genuine. So far, I'm really liking these boards and I think I may play a couple challenges and I think I will have the enthusiasm I'm looking for. |

Hi, I decided to join here as I'm not allowed to state any opinions on SC boards anymore. I just have to get this out of my system:
Did you notice that the number of embellishments in the PL kit is down from 7 to 6 (+stamp and cards)?
This pisses me off so much! In the middle of all this shit and price increases and crazy commitments they are actually making the PL kit thinner.
I want my monthly excitement and new products with reasonable international shipping, but so far I haven't been able to find a kit that would be better than SC PL (for me personally re. style etc).

That's one reason I would be unwilling to sign up to a sub with such an onerous cancellation policy as they're proposing for next year - there's no guarantee at all that the kit contents will stay the same, or even how the whole system will run e.g. few add-ons each month - maybe they're trying to get rid of them too! |

I just put in an order for a FF embellishment kit as well as one from Pinkfresh Studio. Look like much better quality/quantity than SC's recent kits.

I am honestly amazed some of you stayed with SC so long! I jumped on sales lately but for about the last year it has been not worth the value for the kits. I use to love it and it was the best out there. I became frustrated by the lack of customer service and people feeling so burned by the company. I think I am jumping on the will never spend another cent there bandwagon- who knows though.
I turned there and here briefly when 2peas went under so am sad not to have the message boards. I love seeing all the user names of you guys I recognize.
I feel bad for everyone who has to pay to cancel or subscribes and has that crazy cancellation fee. I love ALi's stamps but same thing with the cancellation fee- kind of crazy expensive.
Anyway it feels good to hear everyone else's gripes freely.

I just had a big rant on the message board (Those acrylic houses), so I´m pretty sure I´ll be getting a letter with the April - stamp in the mail pretty soon! I´ll probably be banned as well. It´s reveal, and you can´t ask questions on the message board, you have to start a convo......and get an answer after a day or two?! WTF is wrong with those people? I´ve been subbing since 2008. This is my last month and now I´m just pissed off!  What kind of company does NOT want to sell their stuff?! I was following that thread and looks like it was deleted! Beeches!! |

I'm really glad I don't have the card kit. Sigh, I wonder what the hell they are thinking. Is the A Beautiful Mess kit that popular and they want to get some of those subs? I do feel that the Scrapbook kit is next, it seems to be the kit that costs the most yet has dwindling supplies.

I've been on the fence about signing up here since everything went down at SC. Mostly because I don't like to comment much. But after today's email about the SC card kit, I've had enough. I was only planning to stay at SC through the Christmas/holiday roll out of product, but now I don't much care. As it was, I already thought the cost of things were a bit high. In fact, I actually share a subscription with a friend (she get's PL and I get the card kit under one use name) so we could split shipping costs.
I wasn't as invested in the 2Ps community, as I found them when I first started card making and then they shut down shortly after that. But it appears that SC is on their way out too. Why does buying paper crafts have to be so hard or confusing? I buy stuff online all the time (as I'm sure most people do) and it's not so hard. You find something you like, you add it to your cart, you see how much shipping costs, and then you decide if you're going to pay it or not. Why are there subscriptions and crazy cancellation policies. And don't even get me started on this month to month thing where once you get to see only a snippet of what you're agreeing to pay for you then have a few days to commit or cancel. THAT IS CRAZY!
I'm curious as to how long the message board post will last before it gets locked and deleted since now you're not allowed to say anything without being scolded.
Sorry, end rant. I had to get it out. I'm excited to join this community!

Yes, seriously thinking of just cancelling the SB and paying the $15 then trying out Citrus Twist, Hip Kits and Scraptastic to see which one I like best. I think I'll keep PL going til Dec as I'd like to finish the album with SC cards, but there's no way I'm signing up to the new cancellation policy. |
