Can you delete comments on Instagram or not? I'm surprised they haven't taken down a post or two to minimize the damage. Yes you can. I'm surprised they haven't.

I was wondering if they have to take care of Ali, ABM, and Courage Works conversations before the take care of SC conversations. That would be very telling! Today it occurred to me that we don't even know if it's safe to shop at SC again! They haven't said whether or not "the glitch" has been reslolved. I don't know about anyone else but I was just assuming that the issue was resolved :-(

I do not think they would shut down the message board. Too much of their business model is tied to the hype of sneaks and FOMO. Don't you think? And they couldn't reach enough with a blog, and so many don't/won't use IG. They would quietly die away....too many other kit clubs have enough followers. It's the community draw that made them so big....

I already got a reply to my Story Kit convo - roughly 24 hrs after I started it. They give a response time of 48 hrs.

I'm sure their new partners would have conversation turnaround timeframes written into their contracts. There is, potentially, less of a penalty for making SC convos wait for days. Great point about their shipping. I wanted to use up my calico points and almost checked out earlier tonight. Probably should wait.

I got a generic note today the ups was going to deliver a shipping label for me, but I think it came from ups. I haven't gotten any response about my missing items, and really I strongly feel I shouldn't have had to contact them about that. They put a note in my box saying what was missing, so it isn't like they didn't know.

As frustrated as I am with them, I would almost tell them I'm not shipping anything back until I have an answer regarding my missing items. That's just ridiculous. They want us to jump through hoops for them but can't answer our conversations in a reasonable amount of time.

Hi! I've been reading the thread and decided to join. I just quit my PL SC sub and with everything that's been going on I feel kinda awkward commenting on stuff there. It's like big brother's watching. ? I read that smack blog bc I was curious. Yikes. I thought one of the great things about scrapbooking is the community that comes with it. But the people on the blog are scary.

Dear Customer Experience Manager, Studio Calico:
I am writing to give you a little feedback regarding your recent communication. I just can’t get it off my mind.
1. My first impression was that of rah-rah corporate speak which would have been more appropriately directed towards your employer and your team members instead of your customers. It was like you were trying to get hired. Take it easy. You’ve already got the job.
2. The pretentious use of the word “craft” stopped me in my tracks. It caused me to go and look up your profile to check to see whether or not coffee was your favorite beverage.
3. Well it’s very nice and all that you’re growing. Really. All the best. However, it appears to me that SC is unable to adequately take care of the customers they already have. Anyway, we’ve heard it all before. Actions speak louder than words, etc. etc.
4. “Love” - We are not your BFFs…ew. We are your customers. That was just…..weird. And so unprofessional.
It appears as though you were more concerned about polishing your own image rather than alleviating your customers’ concerns.

Since Studio Calico's owner promoted the company as the scrapbook industry's version of a popular middle school girls' clique, I've never joined the kit club or shopped its website. The only Studio Calico products I own are a couple of masks, purchased for pennies each on clearance when a LSS was closing. However, my email linked to the account created when the company was originally formed continues to be bombarded 3-4 times per week as of late with special promotions...despite unsubscribing repetitively.
I find it sadly ironic the vocal customers who made Studio Calico a household name in the industry (not to mention the owner wealthy) are now the long-time customers the company is going to great lengths to censor! Companies who consistently offered excellent products & customer service have gone out of business. The only possible reason Studio Calico still exists & has opportunities to expand is its loyal customers' unreasonably high threshold for inconsistent quality, poor service, & questionable business practices. Clearly, the owner lacks a strong business acumen or she would NOT be purposely alienating that customer base...

I agree PaperAngel. I posted a question of the message board about the Stationery Kit yesterday and then found out the featured photo in the email isn't actually the Stationery Kit at all. I tagged Savannah (you know, the caring CSM that loves all of us) and never could get a reply. I finally emailed Savannah and AmandaM and got a reply. Its just frustrating. I don't think if I had emailed them I would have ever gotten a reply despite tagging her in the post. Oh well. She did reply in the thread so there is that!

Given the comments on this thread, Studio Calico has likely identified me as a potential customer. Signing up for website access years ago suggests an interest in the company's products, although I've not entered the boards or shop since that date. The company probably hopes one of its numerous email promotions, combined with frequent log-in reminders, will result in sales. Since hundreds of scrappers with inactive accounts may exist, it could prove to be a decent strategy. After all, Studio Calico must replace the (alleged) flood of lost customers/revenue somehow!

The Toyota dealer down the street likes Mercedes Benz cars but they don't advertise having the Benz on sale when they really have 4 Runners on sale.

With this shipping debacle, I'm a bit concerned about my AE story kit/stamp. I got the shipping notice on Tuesday (15th), but the tracking has shown as "not found" all week. I just checked it and it is finally updated, but to "pre-shipment" dated today! I know USPS is really bad about updating the tracking, but my expectation is that when I get the shipping email, my item has actually shipped, not sitting in the limbo of pre-shipment three days later! I can't imagine they got the glitch fixed in time for AE kits. I don't sub to ABM or know when they ship, but if I did I'd be concerned about that too!

Yeah, I'm still ticked that Dean wasn't included in the kit sale, especially since all the other Carolina Moon addons were and pieces of the kit were in the ad.

I had the email to say my Story Kit had shipped but being international there's no tracking so I have absolutely no idea what it's up to. My first kit from Citrus Twist is coming from WA and it has taken it 8 days to travel from just outside Seattle to LAX. It's been agonising watching its super slow progress, so maybe ignorance is bliss
