I think they inadvertently deleted the "J-Dawg" comment when they outright deleted Julie's post about what they talk about in the chats.
It also begs the question that when they were changing the times for the chats, did they want it swarmed with just SC so they could catch up with each other? I mean, honestly, do you not have an in-house messaging program or are your Conversations with each other just as backed up? I mean, I get it, the chat is supposed to be "fun" but when you can barely keep up with customer inquiries, maybe slow down on the inter-company circle jerking.

I am still curious who 'Pollyana' was in chat. It can't be an accident that she was lurking. Well, I can honestly tell you it wasn't me (if anyone was thinking I might have). I thought about creating another account last week but I didn't want to risk being found out and then losing my AE access. LOL. Plus, I can still see all the boards and stuff without logging in at all, so I don't really need it. Aaaand...I just can't sit through chat anymore. As me or someone else. It makes my physically ill (both the chat client itself as well as the absolute head in the sand chatter). Were they lurking or did they say anything at all? |

No they didn't say anything at all...but when you click on their profile, they had nothing in the gallery, no followers, etc. There were many 'in chat' that had new profiles (no followers, no work in the gallery). Only a handful were real people talking. |

in junior high, circa 1991, all the kids were wearing "tight roll" jeans. Well, it only counted if you were cool and wore guess jeans. The nerds got made fun of. And it was one of those things where it must be cool if the cool kids are doing it but in reality-it looked f*cking ridiculous. Like fan girl sc stamp. A totally stupid use for a stamp, yet people will buy it because all the cool girls on IG are using it. Ahhh...tight rolling. But, yes to the bolded part. So, so true. And I realize that that is what SC is - the cool kids club. I was never a cool kid because I couldn't conform to their "rules"...now, at 35, I'm still the same way. I say what I mean, what I feel and I don't hide behind passive-aggressive giggly comments. It's also why I will never fit in with the PTO at my son's school. I just can't do it. yes to this! I never fit in with the swim moms--my daughter has been swimming for 7 years now and they still treat me like a stranger. So we'll be the banned camp uncool moms! |

Close enough that the $14.99 (regular price on SC even though I think it's $10 for subbers for the next 2 days) is ridiculous compared to the $5 you can spent at Forever 21. |

I saw it on the SC board when I first got home and was checking out Preview after being out of the loop all day. I didn't yet know the kit name so I thought it could be true. I think that the demographic SC is aiming for is the social-media loving yummy-mummy rather than singles in their 20s—the ones with enough disposable income to buy stationery for their busy social lives, and albums and paper for memory keeping for their families (memory keeping *not* scrapbooking).
I suspect that SC is probably trying not to ban anyone at the moment unless someone posts something absolutely despicable. Then all bets are off. I doubt they want any more of the backlash they would get if the last two bannings were any indication. And they must know by now that getting banned is considered a huge honor! They wouldn't want to give us the satisfaction.

Catching up on the day's SC news  Here are my random thoughts: - A necklace? Really?
- Very little Preview excitement, if any, on the SC message boards
- So glad I cancelled the Stationery kit (You're Getting Old? Sigh?)
- Appears to be targeting a younger audience (doodle designs, etc.)
- Recycling of old kits into "subscriber exclusives!"
- I do like the pine cone silkscreen
