I'm hoping she's just been quiet due to her mom being scheduled to be released from the hospital (not Covid related) about 3 weeks ago. She had posted in the NSBR forum in case you don't venture there. I was wondering where she was too, but I thought I remembered she went quiet about this time last year too, busy with work and life. But that might've been earlier in the year, at this point I don't even know if it was last year. what is time? Glad she's (probably, hopefully) just busy with family stuff. My mother's recovery has been rough. My SO left to deal with his parents and Covid-19. 2021 has offered zero lube or consent form so far. Desperately trying to catch up with what is going on in the scrappy world right now. Did I miss anything big on the SC front?

We do have some British sun today though. Our doggo is playing in the garden and I'm drinking tea with a slice of chocolate cake from my 30th birthday yesterday. Fellow February baby, peachiceteas ! Welcome the 30s. It's nowhere near as bad or dramatic (except this freakin' pandemic) as people make it out to be. It's just more wisdom (haha jk), more wine, fewer fucks to give. Happiest of belated birthdays to you. I hope THE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE DID NOT FORGET ABOUT IT. Hope Buddy joined in on the fun! Sorry, I have a grudge to hold and newfound motivation to survive this plague so I can hand out my grudge in thin, cold, sharp slices to all my "loved" ones who forgot mine. How's that for 30s wisdom?

How about they send us a postcard together? I want April to tell us once again how people don't like making and sending cards anymore. Hope mom brought a couple of sticker sheets with her. I mean, what's a vacay sans stickers?

sleepingbooty Oh, hey! Glad to have you back mon ami but so very sorry to hear about your situation right now. It all sounds like a lot. I wish I could do something to make it easier for you. Buddy sends you lots of covid-free licks. I know he would wiggle his butt a lot if he ever met you. He knows a good one when he sees one! Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. I am literally lolling at the mental image of mom and April on vaycay.

mom and April are vacationing together as we speak! 😂 You got jokes! 🤣 You have to track her down so you can observe from behind a newspaper or something. I want the scoop on how the kids behave and how utterly charming and hi-larious her husband Greg is. Surely there will be non stop laughs with his TGM (typical Greg moments as she used to post about on her blog- 🤮).

I just turned 50 earlier this month so I'll toast these awesome February birthdays when my 5 year old goes to bed tonight.

I want the scoop on how the kids behaveHonestly, my brain automatically filled it in with 'poop' and brought back those bleach-in-the-eyes-PRONTO memories of her IG stories with the child army potty breaks in the back of the car posted on IG stories. The bad ol' days, my friends, the bad ol' days. mom Beware of open trunks when April's around!

DH has bought a brick, with his name of it, when they were doing some sort of membership drive. He wants to go see it in person in the summer, so it'll be another chance to run into April & co!

And I just want to add to anyone reading here - I am not going to stalk April and her family. I don't care where she is, either. I just thought it was funny we are staying so close to her as I usually think she is too boujee for me. Our place is right on the beach and other than seeing her post about it on instagram, I wouldn't care where she stays.

I took my dh there for his birthday a couple of years ago, he loved it so of course I thought I'd be bored out of my mind, lol. It was actually a very nice trip. The gift shop was pretty cool, I picked up some Christmas gifts for him while we were there and had a delicious milkshake at the restaurant. I found a Tuesday Morning and a liquor store and was happy as a, well, a liquored up scrapper!

I've never seen one in real life *knocks on wood* but every time I hear a story about one, I get a little uncomfortable. There was one earlier this year by an Italian hospital that required evacuating some Covid-19 patients. Ok, planet Earth, can you just chill for a bit? Anyhoo, that was my very important contribution to this thread today.

Yeah, that’s the corvette museum that a huge sinkhole opened up underneath a few years ago. Sad times. They actually have some of the cars that fell into the sinkhole on display, and there is an opening in the floor where you can look down inside at the actual cavern. There's also a room with photos and a video you can watch as it happened. I was a bit nervous at going into the actual room after seeing that, but it was a really cool experience.

The fawn and raccoon images are from some vector set that's been used and left already. I'm pretty sure that exact fawn has been used by Prima Marketing in one of their Frank Garcia lines.
The March kit really underlines how all over the place SC's designs are these days... It's really a bizarre mix of different aesthetics. I can't wrap my head around it.

I think I'm finally finished shopping with them. Unless there's another mega time a million sale. 😉

Apparently SC are now offering zodiac stamp sets. 🤷 Kudos, it'll sell in their demographic. I swear, if I hear one more question about my birth chart, I'm going to go cuckoo bananas but clearly, it's trendy. Gotta say, starting with the last sign of the zodiac chart is not very logical but oh well, it's SC we're talking about here... New dog + cat lady stamp sets as well. The style is very Messy Box circa 2015. LLP is back as well. Nothing I want or need to have.

I only picked up an extra chipboard set and an extra die cut set this month. None of the add on stamp sets appeal to me at all this month.
I do really like the main stamp set this month! Anything food related is perfect for me and what I like to document.

I got the Playground stamp because we live at the playground these days and the April stamp because now I'm committed to buying every monthly stamp. Why did I do this to myself?

I picked up the die cuts to get my Raccoon fix (and will wait for the next digital sale to pick up the cards), but I did not like the DK as a whole. I do like the TN kit...except for the fact that it has a TN because I don't use them! But I actually like the rest of the kit. I did get the new alpha and numbers because even though I have a lot of small alphas, most of them don't have numbers.
