We are using the left over ground beef/Italian sausage mixture along with the onions, and tomatoes from last night's tacos to make spaghetti sauce. We always have it with garlic bread and angel hair pasta. Oh, and cheese. Lots and lots and lots of cheese!

My daughter likes this dish we have named "Spicy Rice." It is rice mixed with green enchilada sauce and some grated cheddar cheese. Then baked in the oven for about 25 minutes. She has carrots or sugar snap peas for her veggie. I'm not even remembering how we stumbled upon it but she loves it and I make it for her once every other week. I am not a big rice eater, so on these Spicy Rice nights, I have a spinach salad with gorgonzola and sliced almonds.

Chicken Parm, pasta w/homemade tomato sauce and peas. This was a last minute idea, but why not?

It's finally cooled down (in Seattle!) enough that I've turned the stove on. I've been grilling constantly. Tonight it's pork chops with mushrooms and sauce over rice. Salad and green beans on the side.

I've got a whole chicken in the crockpot, a request for corn on the cob and green beans I bought Friday, so I should use them today.

Lol. I actually have no idea where it is - my husband always drove. Totally worth the trip! I actually did a scrapbook page on their ice cream, and believe it or not, I found a die cut title for the place in a scrapbook store on the Cape. Sadly, no I am not on the Cape. We used to go for vacation. My inlaws rented an amazing house in Dennisport. Not even a block away from the beach. I cannot tell you how much I miss it. Some of our best vacations ever. I used to fantasize that my inlaws would buy the house and my sister-in-law and I could 'summer'. Yes, I am deluded. Do you live there or are you vacationing? Have lived on the Cape for 22 years. My son's girlfriend lives in Dennisport (and not even a block from the beach! small world!) and we are just 2 towns over I'm so jealous!! I will always be loyal to my beloved Jersey shore, but adore Cape Cod. The house we stayed at was on Inman Road. I'll bet it's not far from her!

We had chipotle! If you go online to their site and play the game, you can get a bogo meal! Not sure how long it will be available for.

I had a Dr appt and DH had softball and needed to eat early. I pulled sliders out of the freezer for him to grill before I got home. I left the Dr office and got a text that dh had dropped the sliders on the driveway. Only in my house, I swear. DS and DH needed something else for dinner - thankfully, I had an extra pkg of sliders in the freezer and you can cook them from frozen, so we had the original dinner.
