I would love to see some great examples of vintage metal drawers in an office/scrapbook room / craft room/ etc. But actual photos of the drawers IN the room, not just a tight crop in of the actual drawers, yk?
I have 8 vintage metal filing drawers. LOVE them! My mom passed up buying 6 of them so I could buy them.
Anyway, I've been trying to arrange them in my room but they feel very... heavy. I love the industrial look, but having a hard time making them work in my space.
I'd love to see photos, to get an idea of what I might like or would work better.
Right now they are varying shades of grey, black, and sort of army green, and I would consider painting them. They are pretty awesome they way they are, though. I also am planning on painting some of the furniture in my room (it's all wood/wood veneer right now, all vintage pieces of varying ages and styles) so maybe once some of the darker wood/veneer furniture is painted, it will add some brightness back into the room.
