I am lazy, and I often use the little dictation thing on my phone instead of typing. I was just replying on a thread, and watching old episodes of Scarecrow and Mrs. King on my iPad. It picked up what the bad guy was saying, and this is what got tacked on to my very helpful post about ear infections:
I want that letter by 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon or I will kill you in some terrible manner
LOL... It can't understand what I am actually saying most of the time, but it heard perfectly well what some cheesy 80s double agent on my iPad said…

That's really funny. But do you realize there is probably a lot of people who would not know what a 'letter' is. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Ivm7lm0DayrhoRpwvCeH.jpg)

That is really funny!
Siri does that to me all the time.
And she uses my first name which is not KT...
I feel like I am being told off by my mother.

I don't have dictation software but it would probably be similar for me. After all my Siri NEVER understands what I say until I'm pissed and I swear. understands that right away. Lol
'"I'm sorry, there is no F@&$ you in your contacts"
Oddly, it dissipates the anger right away because I'm LMAO.

Every once in a while, I will be voice texting someone and forget to hit send but it keeps recording. When I discover the garbled paragraph that I have created with my continued conversation, it is really funny

That is awesome. I don't get how that dictation stuff works. It rarely understands what I say but it can pick up song lyrics and TV dialogue? I just don't get it.

This may account for a few of the posts I have seen here! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Siri gets in my wick. She doesn't cope well with a northern accent.

Where can you stream Scarecrow and Mrs. King? I loved that show when I was a kid. While most girls my age had crushes on teen heart throbs, I loved Indiana Jones and Scarecrow.

It's not streaming for free. I bought it. Yes, that's exactly how big of a nerd I am. FTR, I also own all four seasons of Remington Steele.

That's a riot. I'm always bumping the voice text button on my phone. I'll have to put it on while watching something on TV and see what it writes.

It's not streaming for free. I bought it. Yes, that's exactly how big of a nerd I am. FTR, I also own all four seasons of Remington Steele. Dh and I just found Scarecrow and Mrs. King on Amazon Prime. It's $1.99 an episode or $25 and change for a season. I'm going to check Amazon for the DVD set before I purchase the streaming seasons. I just discovered Remington Steele on Hulu Plus. I've been enjoying binge watching Pierce Brosnan and then switching over to Mark Harmon on NCIS. What did we ever do before video streaming? Oh yeah, toss on some clothes, amble around Blockbuster, discover that the DVD I was craving is rented out, discuss with my dad and then dh what we wanted to watch instead, stand in line to check out, try to avoid buying enough candy to put a horse into a diabetic coma, and then rush home to watch the DVDs before they accumulated late fees. We had a closer relationship with the clerks at our local video rental place than we did some extended family members. They were almost as good as IMDB.com at recalling the movie you couldn't remember the name of, and their movie reviews were as good as Rotten Tomatoes. I also enjoy watching YouTube videos on my smart TV. I've been enjoying an old A&E show called Mysteries and Scandals that someone recorded and put up on YouTube. There's 88 episodes that are about Hollywood movie and TV people. I've also been enjoying Spongebob Squarepants. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/OrTI4SBmZ2ZYSFv6ag4f.jpg)
