Since a lot of peas are helpful, I thought I'd ask you! I'm now looking into getting a mid-size SUV and am trying to see which one I should get...looking into comfort, low gas mileage, room in the back, etc. I've looked at Jeep Grand Cherokee, Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, and Hyundai Santa Fe GLS...does any of you owned any of these and what are the pros and cons of these SUVs and anything you could share before I can make a decision?
Did you add any new features to it that wasn't included and any inputs would be appreciated, thanks!

I have a 2007 Honda Pilot that I bought brand-new in January 2007. It's been problem-free. All I ever do is change the oil, rotate the tires and occasionally replace brake pads. The dealership's service is great. They make service suggestions based on mileage and inspection, but they never push for me to do anything that really doesn't need to be done. It's really roomy and has plenty of leg room in the back seat.
My only complaint is that there's a lot of road noise. It's more like a truck than a car. Combine the road noise with a mediocre standard stereo and it's really hard to listen to the radio or iPod or anything while driving.

We've had two Santa Fes... one was a sport edition, I think it was a 2010. And right now we have the 3rd row/seven seater 2013. We've been very happy with these vehicles. They are super comfy, handle snow/ice/yucky road conditions well. Heat/air has always worked well. Our new 2013 did have a problem with it when we first got it but it was quickly repaired and no issues since then. We haven't had them for very long so can't speak to how they will hold up into old age, but we'd definitely buy one again.
The only negative thing I will say is that the 7 seater isn't really idea for lots of young children. There is virtually no storage space, and the third row is hard to get into. The middle row does slide forward on both sides, but that still only gives a small opening (I'm sure it's less than 12 inches) and you still have to climb up/into/over the middle seat to get into the back-back.

We had a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe (actually still have it - but my DH is driving it now). I love that thing!
Last fall we purchased a Mazda CX5 - the CX7 is a little bit bigger and probably more the size of the Santa Fe. We had never owned a Mazda - but love it!
Take a test drive to see how you like it. We did not like the Kia Sorento at all. But it was good to test drive them all to narrow it down.
Have fun - good luck and come back to let us know what you get!

I have a 2013 Honda Pilot and love it. Its big enough for what we need, which is to carry 2 adults, 1 baby, and 2 75+ lbs dogs around. I have had no issues so far.

I have a 2007 Nissan Murano and just love it. Like hennybutton with her Pilot above my Murano has been problem free, just routine maintenance. It's very comfortable and has plenty of room to haul all my scrapping stuff for crops

We love our Jeep Grand Cherokee, but it has a mystery leak somewhere in the roof, so if I forget to cover up my son's carseat before it rains, it gets wet. We've spent several hundred dollars on three trips to the dealer to try to figure it out, but it's still happening.

I have a 2013 Mazda CX-9. It doesn't have the best gas mileage, but it is way better than my DH's truck. I do have the 3rd row, but it is only good for kids who aren't in carseats. I love, love, love the way it drives and handles. It's like a car. It is also very comfortable.

I LOVE my Lexus RX330 (2004, so it's a little older). So glad I bought older but went with a bit of a luxury car, the features are so nice. If you're open to a used car or can spend a bit more, I would recommend checking them out.
If I were buying another SUV, I'd also be looking at the Mazda line. DH, a real car guy, drives a Mazda and I looked at their SUVs at a car show and was quite impressed. Mazda was never on my radar but I'd put it up with Toyota or Honda after our experience with his.
