If you've used both, can you give some pros and cons to each system?
To me, the only major difference seems to be that the Vagabond is electric and the Fuse is a manual crank.
I like the idea of being able to cut some dies, but mostly want it for embossing. Possibly letterpress.
Thanks for any input!
Ashley.

The Fuse has a 12 inch cutting width and will cut the larger (Big Shot Pro size) Sizzix dies and the AccuQuilt fabric dies. The Vagabond has the same 6 inch cutting width as the Big Shot.
The Fuse folds up, but it's way too heavy to be truly portable. It does a great job on letterpress with the Fuse design plates and Sizzix letterpress plates. I had to experiment a little with shims to get good results with embossing folders.
The advantage to the Fuse would be using the larger 8 x 8 and letter size embossing folders like the ones for the Ebosser. If you quilt, you could also use quilting dies with the Fuse.

Thank you! I am kind of in love with the ability to work with 12x12, which I think is one of the main reasons I want the Fuse.
Do you happen to know if the Lifestyle crafts letterpress system will fit through the Fuse?

I haven't tried it, but the description of the LC Letterpress on Scrapbook.com says it will work with the Fuse system. The Evolution letterpress (which I think is the same as Lifestyle Crafts) also says it will work in the Fuse and the Ebosser. You might need the Fuse adapter kit that lets you use competitors' dies in the Fuse system.

Ok, I read those descriptions last night and did not see the Fuse mentioned specifically! Just that the Letterpress fits in "most other brands of rolling die cutters". Thank you!
I bought the Fuse last night!

The vagabond make an expensive paperweight if you happen to put A die in that will not go through. I am still trying to get my Genius platform out of it

I haven't used either machine, but I have seen the Fuse on clearance at Michaels and Joanns. The cartridges were super cheap at my local J's.
