Thank you to everyone who voted in the poll about sub-boards. If I'd known then how life was about to go I'd never have posted it at that time, and I'm sorry I've kept you all hanging on so long for a decision as a result. In the end the results were fairly clear - over 75% of you voted to get rid of (most of) the sub-boards. Taking that into account, along with the individual comments, this is what I have decided to do: The Photography sub-board will be moved out of GS, it will be a board at the same level as GS, NSBR, etc. The Stamping / Cardmaking sub-board will stay as it is. All other sub-boards (except FSOT) will be removed, and the threads merged with the main board. The main board will be renamed General Scrapbooking & Papercrafting to be more inclusive (but still linking back to our roots) Barring any major change of heart by you all since the vote, I will make the above changes this coming weekend (1st/2nd August). I know that I can't make everyone happy, but I feel confident that these changes best meet the needs of the group as a whole. ETA As has become apparent by how long it took me to deal with this, it's time for me to take on a little extra help where I can, so I will also be looking for Peas to be moderators of the GS & Photography boards. If you're interested, please feel free to drop me a PM. This sounds good, admin. Sadly, scrapbooking isn't as big as it once was so these changes will make it easier to view without missing anything.
