What punch do you find yourself using time and again? Other than basic shapes, I love my tab punch. It was definitely a good investment. I use it all the time. What are your favorite punches? Do you have any that have paid for themselves in use?

I love my Martha Stewart border punches. I have never paid full price (thanks TJ Maxx, Ross & Marshalls!).

I really don't have a huge array of punches, but the ones I have I do use.
I use: Circles, triangle(banner), pinked circle, hearts, scallop border and my all tme favourite: NOTEBOOK EDGE PUNCH. i have said it before and I will say it again, you will have to pry my notebook edge out of my cold, dead hands. I love that things like crazy. So great for adding texture to layers, great on vellum too.

I have a huge tag punch that I won as a door prize at a crop years ago. It punches a tag about an inch and a half wide, and two and half inches long. I use it constantly for layering and journaling, and to make gift tags for presents. I also use my tab punch quite a bit.
I hunted and hunted for hexagon punches, and then finally tracked down some by Fiskars, but I haven't used them quite as much as I thought I would. I must make a point of getting them out and making use of them.
I think the notebook border punch will be my next punch purchase.

I only started buying punches a few years ago, but I love them! I think my faves are really just the basics.... scalloped circles, pinked circles, photo corner, stars, and hearts. I also went through a cloud phase for a while.

I use my circles quite a bit. And my scalloped circle. It is just so easy to make a stamped image look like a finished embellishment with a clean circle around it.
I have two Martha Stewart butterfly punches that I use on nearly every layout. I actually have to hold myself back from using them so much.
I have a Martha Stewart flower punch that I like to use and layer with a sequin in the center.
I love punches, as they are ridiculously easy to use and instant gratification.

I still love my Martha Stewart butterfly punches. I know butterflies are probably old news now but I can't give them up.

I want a photo corner punch! It sounds like I need the big tag punch now too. I use my scallop border punch a lot on cards. My 2" circle punch has paid for itself. I make cupcake toppers with it. And my little 1/2" circle punch is great for embellishment clusters.

I have circle punches from 3/4" to 3 1/2" that I use all the time. I have scalloped edge circle punches, too. I like to use a circle and the scalloped circle together to make a journaling spot.
I use heart and star punches all the time.
I haven't used my notebook edge punch much. I'll have to get it out again.

Also loving circles, stars, hearts and of course the notebook edge! The EK Photo Labels is also a big favourite - perfect for creating a little extra piece for an empty space

I stopped buying punches when I got my silhouette but I still use my circle punch and quite a few edge punches. I especially love my Martha Stewart doily lace edge punch and I also have one that's a large scallop with big circles in the scallops. I'm not sure which brand it is but I love that punch. I love scallops. I still use my corner rounders quite a bit, too.

I like border punches for quick treatments. And I tend to use my basic shapes.

I have an edge punch that looks like a series of alternating arrows. I didn't realize how often I use it until I went through one of may albums recently and saw it on every other page.

Thanks everybody for all the comments. You all reminded me of a few I have that I should try to use more often. Nice to see what everyone's favorites are.

In addition to a basic corner rounder, my most-used punches are photo labels & various borders - round & square notebook/binding; chevron; plaid; argyle; stars; swiss cheese; & sports balls.

The ones I am currently using most of (and I have about 8 of them) are banner punches. I even bought the diamond punch so I can fold over the paper in half to make a triangle banner. Circles also make good banners.

I use my heart punches from Stampin Up all the time. My favorite one is the punch that has 3 hearts in it. They are each a different size and shape. The other heart punch I use is the one that is just a large heart. I can't get enough of them.

I second the tab punch, as well as notebook-edge and threading water (which was my gateway drug to border punches!).
The one I reach for most, though, I can't seem to locate easily on the web to link to, and I've had it for a while... a Martha Stewart "medallion" punch-a circle about 1" that has a very spikey zig-zag edge. (How I wish I found a link)
Anyway, I use this thing so much, it's the perfect little backer for just about anything from title letters to embellie clusters to peeking out from photos. Indispensable.

EK Photo Labels is great for PL. On cards, I use stars a lot.
I recently purged the majority of my punches (borders, around the page, small images like flowers and leaves). I kept the basics.

I have a scallop one I use often and a circle punch that's also in heavy rotation. I need to get a tab punch for my PL since I mix different page sizes.

I love the sound and feel of punching paper...lol
I like the EK notebook and scalloped lace edge punches...
Love my WRMK tab punch, and the EK label punch others have mentioned... L2e makes a stamp set that works with that punch and I love that...
I have a tag punch - EK Sucess, not that big, that I use for making swatch books for inks, etc... Rarely makes it onto layouts but it's a handy one to have...
Corner rounder, circle punches, and that Martha Stewart pinked circle are great basics...
I have a couple Christmas ones that I really like too even though I only use them at Christmas... A couple Martha Stewart snowflakes, a jingle bell, a candy cane stripe border and a Christmas tree border...

penny - I've been lusting after a pinked circle! I am sworn to buy nothing except adhesive and page protectors until January.

The pinked circle was on my list for what felt like forever too... I couldn't find one I liked - I like the shape of the Martha Stewart one, but didn't like the Fiskars or Teresa Collins ones... Kinda fussy I guess I ended up finding the MS pinked circle at a Joann's when we were on vacation, but up until then had only been able to see it online... My backup plan was to get some pinked circle dies... The MS one seems hard to find... If you come across it, maybe it would be okay to bend the budge just that once
