I really haven't thought about dinner at all today but I have cream so it'll probably be shrimp fettuccine Alfredo for me tonight. What are you having?

akathy, that's one of my favorites We are heading off-Cape to go to my nephews rehearsal dinner. I preordered salmon for me and steak tips for my dh. We have a large family and I'm looking forward to hanging out with everyone.

DH told me I should not go out because it is too hot and humid. So no trip to the grocery store especially since I have walk along beside where they are laying the last layer of black top on the street they have had tore up all summer.
So we are going to have scrambled eggs and sausages. Breakfast for dinner - I never get to do that but it was his idea that I not go out.

It's one of the go-to meals when I haven't planned ahead. Enjoy!

Since my son caught a big silver salmon last night, we are having salmon!
I will cook it a few different ways and the family is coming over to join us! Ah, the spoils of life in Alaska!

Tonight we're having the meatballs and pasta/zoodles that we didn't have last night. Dh declared it was too hot in the house for him to cook the pasta We had chicken salad instead. Crazy thing is, today is supposed to be hotter than yesterday, but I'm home before him and so he's OK with me cooking and heating up the house - whatever

We love breakfast for dinner so I make it weekly lately. Tonight it's breakfast sandwiches and hashbrowns.

We're having a mini heat wave!! It's mid 80's outside and 79 in our house. I want to declare ice cream for dinner, but instead we will have blueberry parfaits instead. Or something chilled and ice cold haha!

We've had no electricity since 1 o'clock this morning. I had a sandwich for lunch when I get out of work at noon and we just went out for an ice cream. I guess that's dinner.

It's currently 102 in my neck of the woods, so if it were up to me no cooking would be happening. However, we have left over stew and biscuits from last night, so that may be dinner. I'm not entirely sure yet. I second the vote for ice cream for dinner.

My youngest, who has been with his dad since last week showed up and took me out to dinner for a late birthday surprise. It was really nice-we went to Tijuana Flats (a favorite of mine) and he paid and everything (he is a teenager-paying is something to be excited about lol)
I had a chimichanga and rice and beans. Yum yum yum.

We had pasta with chicken and sun-dried tomatoes and a side salad. It was the first time making the recipe and think next time I will kick up the spice a bit. It was good but not great :/

I still have at least one more dinner with girlfriends-I wish I could just declare the entire month of July as my birthday month.

Another crockpot night here! At almost 7pm it's still 90 here...which is unheard of for the most part. My kids have been in the pool most of day, coming out only to reapply sunscreen and eat and drink. LOL So dinner was lower-fat beef stroganoff and egg noodles with steamed cauliflower on the side.
