So I found a recipe for making pineapple vodka basically. Cut pineapple sitting in vodka for a week or more. After we cut the pineapple and drenched it in vodka i'm thinking...can people actually drink this because essentially they are drinking straight vodka! Vodka with a pineapple taste to it. While it taste good, it's not something you could just drink or you'd be on your butt

I have never done this but I love vodka in pineapple juice as a drink. This sounds good! Do you add any lime or anything else or just the vodka and juice?

I have never done this but I love vodka in pineapple juice as a drink. The most hungover, the most sick I have ever been was thanks to vodka and pineapple juice. OMG. There was a bar when I was in college that had 4 for 1 drinks and I went on a wild ass tear one night that I paid for for at least 2 days. To this day, I can drink vodka, I can eat pineapple, but the combination of the two? NOT HAPPENING.

Vodka pineapple was my go to drink in college and I am nauseous just thinking about the combination now. I only started being able to drink vodka again like 10 years ago and I graduated college in 1987. Lol.

Going off on a bit of a tangent, I really want to make a vodka watermelon now. Anyone with me? The one where they mix it in the watermelon with a hand mixer? I saw that somewhere and have been wanting to try. What about grapefruit vodka? Anyone made their own?

I must know this! soak in rum for A long as you want. You can add the butter and brown sugar later. Ive also cooked it after soaking for a little while in the butter/sugar mix and then just put on the grill for the marks and flavor

Actually the one where you slowly pour a whole bottle of vodka into a watermelon through a small hole, let it sit for a day or two to let the vodka fully absorb, then slice it up and eat it like normal... Drunk melon! It's a student party classic, haven't done it in probably 15 years lol.

You're braver than me if you miss it- but maybe it's because in my day they used really strong, crude liquors. Not the kind that make you sentimental, more like the ones that cause you to vow never to drink again I'll see if I can find the video with the mixer., it made a watermelon daiquiri still in the intact rind. Looked like something preschoolers would get a kick out of too, sans alcohol of course.

There is a restaurant here that has a pineapple martini and they use vodka they infuse with pineapple. They are delish! And if anyone wants a pineapple upside down martini? Vanilla vodka and pineapple juice. You can put a dash of grenadine in there too but it isn't really necessary.
