They look comfortable and I was thinking about a pair for an upcoming cruise outfit.
Yes? No? Are they out of style? Certain age range can only wear them?

We have received lots of look-books from manufacturers and they are definitely back!

The floral/patterned ones are everywhere at the moment though I prefer the plain more classic looking ones. They look great for evening wear with a simple top and flat sandals, I think wearing them with a heel makes them flap around too much..

They are cute, but at 5 foot 2, they are a no go for me.

They are cute, but at 5 foot 2, they are a no go for me. Exactly what I was going to say. I am 5' 1" and no longer a svelte size 2 and I would look like a reject from a clown college.

I don't like them at all! But to each their own!

My daughter got a couple pair for the summer, she was travelling a lot... she looked cute in them and a little dressier than in yoga pants.

They never go out of style. They always come creeping back. Anyone can wear them. However, they are tough to wear if you are overweight or short. It's good to really look at the better brands because of that. Now, gauchos? I miss those! lol

I took DBF's daughter out shopping last week before we go on vacation. The first thing she said she wanted was "flowy" pants. I had no idea what she was talking about until she picked up a pair of these. She is very short so they all needed a hem. I was amazed they are back. My thighs touch so they aren't flowy on me!

The 70s called... they want their pants back.
Just say no. Just like jumpsuits coming back... just say no!

I am not a fan and am resisting the trend. I have seen a few people rock them, but I have visions of me in palazzos in 1997 that I don't want to relive. I like maxi dresses or skirts better.

I got a pair for my trip to Mexico, they are comfy and can be semi dressy. They are fun to wear but its more of a resort wear type thing for me, not daily attire.

They are soooo comfortable. I own several pairs. Check out Zulily for a huge collection of palazzo pants.

I don't care for them for my body type at all. I am tall/thin but short-waisted. They make me look like I have them pulled up to my armpits

I like the idea and the black ones are something I would wear even though I am both short and fat plus old.
The prints in the link are not something I would be wearing because it would look like I had just dug them out of the cedar chest after saving them from 1972 - ick They (the prints) remind me of something the ladies wore on "Laugh In". "Bet your sweet bippy"

Isn't there some "rule" that if you wore a style the first time it was in fashion during your lifetime, you really shouldn't wear it the second time that style becomes fashionable during the same lifetime? I'm sure it has been stated in a pithier manner ... but I wore palazzo pants in the 70's ... so that means I'm not/can't/won't be wearing them now!

I miss those! lol respectfully disagree. the fold-over waist type ones you can just wear with the waist "up", and it's like mild spanx. I'm 30-40 lbs overweight and tho they're tight the patterns and fabric keep any lumps or bumps tucked in and/or indistinguishable. but I solved the "too long" problem by trimming the legs, so they are kinda more like gauchos.

Oh good lord, don't tell me those are back in style. I hated them when they were popular in the 70s. The people who wear them are the ones who shouldn't. If you aren't six feet tall and willowy...skip the palazzos. On second thought even if you are nice and tall wear something else.

The ones linked aren't my idea of Palazzo pants, I'm thinking more Katharine Hepburn looking effortlessly cool and graceful rather than something that makes people throw up.
