that you can cut out unwanted image(s) from photos. Its only $39.99, but I'm not sure if it'll work on my MAC it mentions its a Microsoft product and also I have Photoshop elements 11 and I wondering if I can do this with my current software to save money. Here's the link usa.novadevelopment.com/EM/2014/inpixio/08/land/land_inv.html, Does anyone how to do this with PSE11? Please share the details if you do? For others would you buy this software? I looked at the video and really cool. Its not too expensive I just don't want to spent money right before vacation. Should I get it? I've always wanted to this with photos and I have a ton of travel photos that I would love to remove unwanted people by monuments and famous icons. Thanks guys for helping me decide what to do.

I have used a free online one - let me see if I can find it. ** went searching - what I was thinking of actually removes the background from a picture. Background remover tool
You can use Photoshop to do what that software is showing. I am not an expert at PS - but I am sure there are some videos on how to do this. $39.99 seems like a lot, since you already have PSe11. It is not a Microsoft product - just "gold certified" - whatever that means....

Thanks iowgirl. I don't want to spend money on something if I do not have to. I'll check out your link.

I just checked the software and it removes background, but what this ones does is remove objects or people from photos. I want to keep the background, but lift the unwanted passerby or object. Anyone?

Those features were part of the upgrade in PSE12. Depending on if you can wait or not it'll be on sale before the end of the year (Black Friday?) as Adobe usually issue the upgrade in Sept/Oct.
You could do it in PSE using the clone tool but if you're like me and no expert then it can be difficult to get a good result depending on the complexity of the background.

I just found out that I only had the trial for PSE 11 now they want $99.99 for PSE12. I might just look at the other software.

That looks really cool. I know it can be done with PSE but it's tedious and time consuming if you don't know what you're doing (and I don't, LOL!). I can do some basic things (like maybe removing a pole or something with the clone tool) but I wouldn't know how to take out that shadow while leaving the background. If you do get it, would you mind posting a review here letting us know how well it works and how easy it is (or isn't)? I for one would really appreciate it!
