A few months ago without asking Microsoft Outlook (upgraded, updated whatever) my main email account. Half my folders disappeared. I can't create new folders (or can't figure out how), emails disappear from my inbox (and I have to search for them by what I can remember in the title), and when looking in a folder it's in some strange order which seems to be partially oldest first which I then have to scroll through which is annoying. I hate it.
If I flag something I want it on the front page, I do not want to have to tell Outlook to show flagged emails, that is just dumb.
On the flipside, my junk mail account is still the old style...
Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me? Is there some way to un-preview and go back to the old Outlook? Some way of finding my old folders without searching by the email address of the email I'm looking for?
Sometimes change is NOT good.
PS I have Googled and can't find anything. Maybe I am some kind of lab rat in some strange drive someone insane by email evil plot...

I hate it when software does auto updates.
You should be able to un-do the update.
Go into Control Panel and choose Programs, then Programs and Features, then Installed Updates. It will take a bit to load everything. Scroll through and find the update (you can sort on date or name). click on it and then click Uninstall. I just unintalled IE 11 (it didn't work with some software i was using).
The update will want to re-install, so you need to go to Updates and change your settings to don't auto-install.
Disclaimer : I'm not an IT guy. And I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. So continue at your own risk!

I never installed anything so there is nothing in that folder related to Outlook. One day I logged on to check my email and it was different. I keep asking DH to look at it (he works with computers) but I will start asking more loudly

Sorry I couldn't help. I've been being careful of my installs/upgrades recently because of Win10. I'll upgrade to it eventually, but I'm not ready for it now.

So since I'm going to have to get a new email address (or throw something at the computer) what email program do you use and do you like it?
