"Pashed" is 80s aussie teen girl speak for 'kissed' and as I was about 17 at the time it seemed appropriate to use it That brings back memories of Scott and Charlene pashing on Neighbours I have heard the term 'growler', it's up there with clunge and fadge in terms of nastiness.

I think you have to have teenage sons to be aware of this one. I've just asked one of mine, and with raised eyebrows, he informed me it was from Bo Selecta, whatever the hell that was.

In the book "The Signature Of All Things", the author used 'quim' which wasn't a term I'd heard before. I decided I'd start using that instead, but it hasn't really caught on so far. It doesn't work well as a swear word, it sounds far too polite. Twat is so much more fun.
AussieMeg not going to post it online! Except that he's no longer with us. And thanks to this thread I spent a chunk of the afternoon playing old Aussie music on YouTube...found a great Facebook site too, if any of you are interested Australian Music History

I've heard quim and also cunny, I might be reading the wrong kind of books Those are used in a lot of historical romance novels about England, and I just heard both in the movie "Elizabeth" (I think that is the name.)

I hate ALL slang for women's body parts, including "girly bits" and "lady garden."

It's lovely jewellery, very lucky granddaughters to get something so pretty. If you really want to be scarred forever, look up growler on urban dictionary.com, you've been warned! I looked it up. Oh my. I didn't have any idea that there were so many different names. It certainly is a place for those who don't like 'lady bits' or 'lady's garden' to find a substitute. Maybe.

Eeew, eeew, eeew! Please tell me this isn't so, I've just bought some jewellery for my granddaughters and my best friend from here www.hairygrowler.co.uk. How on earth can I give it to them now with that written all over the box? Okay I'm sorry this cracked me up... But I did have to go to their website and see if they said where they got the name from... so here it is .. not very satisfying. Well, this is the most often asked FAQ! And it is the one i don't really have an answer for, sorry to disappoint! I guess you would have to pop to Cambridge and meet me, then you would understand ? maybe ? or maybe you would be even more confused! Needless to say I have been aka the Hairy Growler since 1999 and it has well and truly stuck! Which now in the age of the internets does not help!!!

I hate ALL slang for women's body parts, including "girly bits" and "lady garden." My only issue is that for any "private parts", male or female, plus any activities you use those parts for, we have made so darn many slang terms to describe them that nearly anything you say can be taken the wrong way.
