I'd like to play too. I just started the new rules of lifting workouts. I lost 38 lbs ten years ago when my ex-DH dumped me, and I've managed to keep it off through diet and exercise. While I'm not an expert, I do know a few things.

I need to lose 50 lbs. I gained 60 pounds with my daughter and wasn't too worried because breast feeding had dropped my weight so quickly before. Well guess what, my daughter REFUSED to breast feed even with extensive visits with lactation specialists and I couldn't pump very much so I never lost the weight. She's 11 now. ?

I'll join! I've lost 32 lbs since mid January, I'm having a hard time losing more and I've been at a plateau for the last 2 months. I just recently started walking 7 miles a day for 6 days a week (I'm about to finish week 2), I hope this will start the weight loss again. I really hope to lose about 15 pounds more and I should be at a size 8 or 10 (depends on where I shop).

I'd join. I couldn't lead since my exercise for today consisted of walking to the kitchen to put more ice in my Dr. Pepper, but I'd love to participate.

I would love to join. Is anyone else dealing with serious health issues and weight gain? I've always been really active, but health problems have kicked my butt in the last 5 years. Couple of rounds of steroids, not being able to move let alone exercise, hello weight gain. Frustrating as well, because the weight gain now is not helping the health problems.

I would love to be a part of that group. I went over to the admin board and requested a healthy living forum. If you guys think that would be good, head on over there and comment on it.
I couldn't be a leader because, well, I've fallen off the wagon! But we used to have a daily WW thread and that was a big motivation for me. We posted daily what was going on with us, what we were eating and on our weigh in day we would post the results. We didn't actually post weights but indication if it was -1 or +0.8 or whatever.
It was great motivation!

I would to be part. I had gastric bypass in 03 and lost 130 lbs but still had 100 more to loss. It has taken true lifestyle changes over many years to help me maintain the loss. I enjoy eating clean and leaning that direction (no whites, no sugar, grains) and am doing a fast now to help cleanse my system. I have been leaning that way for many years but I had noticed my body was off recently and the only thing that had changed was that I started drinking coffee. Crazy I know! I was having like 1-2 cups a day 4 or 5 times a week. SO I gave that up (I only had it 2 months) and decided it was a good time to focus on lean protein, fruits and veggies and a small amount of cheese only or at least the majority of the time. My body just does better with less whites. I don't have a gluten intolerance so that is just out of choice and what I know words well for me.
I really need to be dedicated with my exercise but I have always struggled with that. I plan on putting more effort into that in August and seeing if yoga or Koko Fit are what I do. I have done Koko before and liked it.

I'll volunteer, not as a leader, but to try to start daily threads. No guarantee on a time, but if you don't see one by 10 am EST, somebody else can start it for the day. I'll start with tomorrow

Count me in. I need to lose a ton of weight. I know if I just start exercising the weight will fall off and I will feel better. Why is it so hard to stay motivated?

I would love to be a part of the group. I've always had to work at my weight and have never let it get too out of control. But right now I feel like I am headed down a bad path. I'd really like to get 20 pounds off.

I'd love to be a part of this--helping some (ex)Peas. I do know what I'm doing, if I'm still able to maintain my weightloss goal and my health is pretty good. I'm up-to-date on health/nutrition/diet info, as it's a passion. So, I'd help. I feel a tad guilty though, because my normal workout routine has been nonexistant for a while. I do Nanny and I'm amazed at the muscletone I've gotten back, plus I've lost an extra few pounds! Probably helps that I walk daily with the little ones for about an hour. Anyway, I'll pop on to check this out when I can!
