Fry them in bacon grease till crispy on the edges. Then cook a dippy egg and serve it on top of the taters. Cut into it and eat it up with toast!!

I just fry them up in a bit of butter and some salt and pepper. Get them a little bit crispy on the outside. Yum!

I have a boatload of leftover mashed potatoes because I was rescuing 5 big baker potatoes from spoiling, they had started to sprout. It gave me a Kitchen Aid mixer bowl full. I have frozen scoops before, and that works well, but my freezer is so full right now. Any ideas? Recipes? I have a recipe called Party Beef Casserole. It's kind of a beef and vegetable casserole but you spread mashed potatoes all over the top before baking. |

Fish Cakes.......... link you don't have to use salmon you can use any fish. Bubble & Squeak......... link again you don't have to use cabbage and Brussels Sprouts you can make it with either,both or with another green leaf vegetable if you so wish. |
