yay! was able to spend a few hours in my scraproom also. Finally got the last of the layouts from August Expo into books and finished 'detailing' most of them. Also, got some new layouts done of dgs.
so, getting there with finishing the dgds' 2014 books and dgs' first year book. In time for the birth of dgs #2 in November. (I hope)

"detailing' is a good word, lol!! I like it!! That's what takes me the longest (see the 'time consuming techniques' thread); the detailing-- adding layers to embellishment clusters, choosing brads, picking the little bits and pieces to add as accents, etc. But I do like the way the layouts look when I do it.
I pulled out my SG sketchbook and class binder; Alissa's very cute 6x6 layouts have inspired me to go through that class and actually DO some of the layouts this time (instead of just reading the lessons, lol!) so hopefully I will be scrapping next weekend, too.

I wasn't able to do any scrapping but I did start on one of my September goals which is to put my thin dies on magnetic sheets and put them in the simon says sleeves. I got over 25 sets of dies done and ran out of magnetic sheets so I need to order some as the dollar store ones aren't really cost smart.
