Patter: Maybe there are several kinds of cropper hopper paper holders? Mine are (all full for one thing) but are 3 inches or so wide and open so not very flat.

You are correct. You cut out a side or use one of the dividers. Both work GREAT!

I use it more than my gelli plate.
