You will have to explain it all night long, but it's easy and comfortable. Everyone dress in green and you are "gangrene". Might go over better in a health care setting. Sorry, I'm probably not helpful.

Loose purple "sacks" - large dark sunglasses
plastic musical instruments
someone play the song via phone or ?? (Heard it through the grapevine is the song)
dance around some when the song plays

tossed salad.
A little time consuming with the paper mache and fabric but it turned out great!
one mushroom....one lettuce, one cuke, one pepper, one radish, one carrot, one onion, crouton, bacon bit...

how about a bunch of grapes ? wear purple or green shirts or would trash bags work to stuff I know I have seen post on pinterest of lots of quick easy costumes. check pinterest

the last one has the troll dolls..too funny...wear beige clothing...take bright colored halloween wig & spray up like troll hair. some have gems too.

My DD and her friends are doing Batman characters. DD is going as Harley Quinn, but they have Batman, Robin, Poison Ivy, Joker, Penguin, Cat Woman, etc.

Once saw a fantastic group costume. Bunch of guys went as the Blue Angels (could also work as Thunderbirds). They all wore basic clothes - like jeans and the same color blue shirt. Each had on a baseball hat with a model airplane attached to the top. The best part was that they stayed in formation all night!
