It wasn't much and it melted before it hit the ground, I think. But it was snow! Hubby fired up the outdoor wood boiler heater today, as we are supposed to get below freezing the next few nights. I love snow, but I'm not sure I'm ready for it just yet. We are in norther lower Michigan. Anyone else get snow yet?

No, but they showed it in Northern MN on the news. We've had an amazing fall. Today was the first really cold day.
I love snow, but not yet, please!

It was in the 90s again today here in west central Florida. Last - and only! - time I saw snow here was when I was in 6th grade. That would be 38 years ago. Living in a hot climate, I have such a hard time envisioning snow at all. It's amazing to me that it can be so hot here, yet others are getting snow. My mind boggles. L

We have a chance for some tonight, but none so far. If we do I am sure it will only be in the upper elevations and they are only predicting a trace to 3 inches.

No snow, but I did just turn on the furnace. I felt 37 outside and 59 inside meant it was time.

No snow today! It was 90 still last week! I am not necessarily opposed to snow but it does make my job harder! For every big snowfall we get several work comp injuries from slip and falls. Last year we received 12 in of snow in one day. I think we had 7 work injuries from that snow fall.

I didn't know you were from Michigan! I absolutely love northern MI! One of my favorite places. No snow here, but I'm further down the mitten.

As long as I can take winter vacation each year to help me through. I spend March in California. Lol. We also love Key West so we will probably try to squeeze a trip in to there this winter. The leaves are turning and we are headed over to the Tunnel of Trees near Harbor Springs tomorrow. It's gorgeous and we like to drive through to Leg's Inn for a delicious Polish dinner before we head back home. This is pending migraine status of course, but I am hopeful.

Tunnel of Trees in the fall is on my Michigan bucket list! We drove it several years ago, but it was during the summer. Still beautiful! I can only imagine how it looks during fall. We did the entire length M22 a few years, too. I'm hoping next fall to do it again! I hope your migraine doesn't affect your plans!

Another Floridian looking forward to a 'chilly' mid 80s today. It's dropping into the low 70s at night, but I don't think we're ready for snow yet.

I hope we don't see any for at least a couple months. The older I get, the better twinkling Christmas lights look on a palm tree!

I'm in Denver and we are supposed to be about 78 degrees. We had one of the warmest September's on record last month and are gearing up for a repeat with October. It has been crazy beautiful but unseasonable. It has been so warm that they had to cancel snow making in the mountains because it would be futile, as it would be melting nearly as fast as it lands. I am not missing the snow, so I will allow all you in Michigan to keep it, though we need the moisture desperately and my brand new skis are leaning by the door mocking me. I wonder if I can trade them in for water skis???

No snow here, but we're expecting frigid temps in the mis-70s today. This has been the weirdest, warmest October I can remember. I'm dying to wear boots and sweaters and instead I'm still wearing capris and flip flops.

We are having a cold spell here in west Tx, too. 88 high yesterday! LOL same here in my area of California. A high of 82° yesterday and a high of 81° today. But it was like 90+° because of this darn wonky weird el nino storm we got. Humid. Very humid. My hair was a mess. And early this week is was 95°. October sucks. My area doesn't cool down till November. Mid Nov at that... Welcome to Southern California.

Yes, we got snow today, too. We live in Northern ME. We had gone out on a drive to look at the gorgeous Fall foilage and it started snowing at 10 or so this morning. It didn't accumulate (very wet), but they are calling for an inch or two over night. We'll see.

I'm so jealous. I've been hot and sweaty since last March. It is 82 degrees and 75% humidity today and it doesn't look like it is ever going to cool off.

No snow but, we did drive with the windows down today. Also, after our run we did have to wear long sleeves while sitting out back in the shade having coffee. Still running the A/C.
