I think everyone I know is for some reason. Is "Mercury in Retrograde?" whatever that means. I have no idea. Just everyone in my life right now is angry at someone for some reason. I am not what I would consider happy, but I am avoiding life and not leaving my bedroom.
I think I will go workout or something in a few minutes. The gym opens at 8 and it's 7:30 now.
I just don't get it. The problem must be with me.

Is "Mercury in Retrograde?" whatever that means. Mercury in Retrograde means that the planet Mercury is moving backward - hence the "retrograde". It isn't really, but looked like it was to ancient astronomers. So the retrograde or moving backward adversely affects (or is it effects) frustration and productivity levels. Disclaimer - I do not follow astronomy or astrology. I had someone explain this to me once and for whatever reason it stuck. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong....

I'm cheerful this morning and the few people I've been in contact with (admittedly very few, like one) has been cheerful. I get a chance to paint today and I'm excited about that.

Nope! It's day 2 of a 4 day weekend after 2 weeks being short-staffed in the office, making it 2 weeks of chaos. I slept in, had my coffee and eggs. Started laundry. Going to do Jillians shred dvd before another cup of coffee. It's beautiful here today!

I don't smoke and I want a freaking CIGARETTE now!!! Honestly, I hate smoking after not having smoked for 10 years. And yet now I want one!
Must be stress. That's all I can think it can be.

Oh yes, I'm very irritable today. I had arranged for the council to dispose of the remaining furniture from my mum's house this morning. It was a bit sad seeing her sofa, chairs etc going into the lorry, but then I got really annoyed. The workmen decided to break up the wardrobes upstairs, but then threw the pieces down the stairs. They seriously damaged the edges of two steps, and then blithely said that the new carpet would cover it. Um, I'm not getting a carpet, you idiots, I'm sanding and painting the stairs. Or at least I was. Then my friend changed her mind about lunch as detailed in my vent post. Then my DS texted to say his GF is staying over tonight - AGAIN. She's a lovely girl but sometimes I just want the house to myself. Especially when I'm moping and feeling sorry for myself.

I woke up to a text at 8:15. For me, that is a bit early. My friend wants me to babysit while she goes to an auction. Thankfully it is a four legged baby, a labradoodle, and I couldn't be happier.

I'm totally grumpy today. I'm dealing with some stuff right now and so didn't sleep much last night. This morning I go in to find my beloved Keurig is dead dead dead. I don't have any regular coffee in the house so I can't even drag out the French Press a student gave me as a gift, but luckily I had coffee filters in my art supply stash so I was able to dissect a K-cup and make the elixir of life... So yup, not the best morning in the old homestead.

Not at all. Fall is finally making an appearance here. Yesterday it was 95 degrees and today it's cloudy with a high of 75. It rained last night. I have all the windows open and I am reveling in the fresh air. It's so peaceful.

I've had a really lovely day, I went shopping and had coffee with a friend and was in a really good mood then I found out my Mum has been trying to contact my tithead of a brother. My mood has soured somewhat and it's a short step to grumpyville.

My husband is and it's rubbing off on me. Probably because we can't stand fall, and it's freezing here today, with snow 2 hrs. north. We want summer! We really need to move to Boca Raton, FL!

not really irritable but feeling really crappy. Dh says its cause the weathers changing. I hope so. I think. My body is protesting winter. lol. I hate the cold. It's why I live here. that makes me grumpy lol! It's been a little wet and rainy this weekend so that might have brought it on. One side of my face feels like a rock and stomachs churning. uggh. I'm gonna curl up on the couch and watch football.

Not me, but so far today I've listened to 2 grumpy vents from people close to me (DH & a friend), so there's definitely some irritability in the air. I'm trying to let it not rub off on me.

So far I'm doing fine. Not ready or wanting to go back to school on Monday after our two week fall break, but we've had absolutely gorgeous fall weather lately - and fall is my favorite season. I didn't get everything done that I had wanted or planned during break, and there are some extra stresses going on personally and at work, but I'm enjoying another beautiful day and looking forward to going to a Celtic Woman concert tonight.

Just got some nail mail and I've got five different colours on because I couldn't decide! Esmaltes da Kelly Robin, EdK Wolverine, Powder Perfect Thebes, Dance Legend Wow Prisms Beautiful Lie, China Glaze Star Hopping. All so, so blingy, I couldn't even capture the beauty with my camera! And why did my phone autocorrect colors...Swype is a major source of my irritation today!

I'm ok today but last weekend I got so mad at DH that now my phone is dead. The case protected it from any signs of physical damage but the shock to it's system was fatal. And it was a good phone too!

Astrologically speaking Mercury is out of retrograde but is still in a shadow period for another week. So it's energy of miscommunication and reflection is still in play. When Mercury is in retrograde it goes backwards in the zodiac instead of forwards.
If you are a Libra you probably felt this energy from Mercury last month or this month cause that's the sign Mercury is in. And when it retrogrades it spends more time in a sign cause it goes forward in it, then backs up, then goes forward again.
The irritability could be coming from Pluto. Excuse my breaking into an astro lesson but this is the only way I know how to express this:
Pluto is the transformer and drops the things that no longer serve him and dive into the things that do. He's the destruction before the renewal.
And the Sun has been transiting by the generation of Pluto at this time of year. So if you were born between 1973 and 1982, Pluto was in Libra. And in Astrology when we are born the planets leave the mark with the signs they were in to capture the energy that you first met at your birth. ( cause astrological theory is that each planet gives off a certain energy that influences our lives personally and collectively )
They call this birth chart our natal chart that shows where the sun, moon, and planets were when we were born.
And they call the planets our natal planets on our natal chart. So with our natal Pluto in Libra and the Sun ( the present placed one that is / transiting ) in Libra astrologically means that the Sun is communicating with our Pluto.
And the Sun's astrological energy is what our personality is, our identity and how others see us. That's why we call our sun sign our zodiac sign.
So put Pluto's energy together with the Sun's and we have a personality with an influence to peel away what no longer serves us. And Pluto is very deep so you may have to get in touch with your emotions for clarity. And because this is happening in the sign of Libra, the influence has to do with balance and relationships.
And if you feel off balance that can irritate you whether it's coming from an inner feeling or an outer situation.
So if you feel influenced by this energy, what do you feel will serve you to be in harmony with yourself, and what will be dropped in order to gain it?

Yes...Mom's colon cancer might be back...two years later. Praying for better news for her. Two children I know got horrible news about their own cancers...Cancer SUCKS.... Oh goodness that is horrible! Two years of freedom and may-be back? I am sorry. I do kind of know what you are going through. My mom's cancer is a ticking time bomb unfortunately. We may get my Mom some palliative radiation if the radiation oncologist, hospitalist and radiologist think it will give her some comfort. The area that is behind the hernia hurts she says. She is on Dilaudid and fairly high doses of it. She had an abdominal CT yesterday and I was able to read between the lines from what the nurse said and it doesn't look like it has spread or grown. The dementia helps the cancer because she doesn't know what's wrong and that doesn't upset her then. I really hope your mom is ok. It's awful watching our moms suffer. If you will allow me to do it, I would like to do supplication for your mom.

I'm grumpy at DH, but nobody else. I find he is currently a selfish ass and I want to smack him. You would think at some point he'd think of someone besides himself without being reminded that he should.

You would think at some point he'd think of someone besides himself without being reminded that he should. My husband and I are both home most of the time together now. While we have only had two arguments since May, it is way easier to get along when someone leaves the house every day. You have my permission to head slap him.
