I don't know if I should curse you or thank you for this post and to the person who updated and said that the calendars were back in stock! I just ordered some as Christmas gifts.
I've never heard of them; but, since they are so popular and you guys always have good ideas I just went with it!

that's crazy!! 40$ for tea, AND pay 25$ for shipping? that dang well better be the Best tea EVAH. I think I'm alone on the bench (well, DH & I), but neither of us thought it was anything remotely close to the best tea ever when we tried them last year. In fact, there were less than a handful that we even liked. We disliked that many of them had artificial flavoring and we just flat out didn't like the flavors. I'm glad we tried it, but it just wasn't for us.

I was told that they have a supply for 5 days in the stores and that there are possibly some more being released to be sold on-line. A Blessed Advent to all!

Wow, how have I never heard of this! I decided to give it a try and got a mesh infuser too, so it qualified for free shipping.

that's crazy!! 40$ for tea, AND pay 25$ for shipping? that dang well better be the Best tea EVAH. That's how us Canadians feel whenever we order anything from the US . Fortunately I live 15 minute from the US border and can have packages sent to the border town and just go pick it up. I wouldn't pay $40 for tea for myself, I don't love tea that much. This is for my daughter-in-law, who loves tea and her birthday is at the beginning of December.

I went and almost bought one.. then I thought what would my daughter REALLY love that isn't candy.. and I bought her a make up advent calendar. If you hadn't posted this thread I would not have come up with what I know she will love.
So thank you.

I was an early adopter of the David's Tea advent calendar and faithfully got for the past three years. I'm passing this year because we just have way too much tea in our house. Instead, we're each getting LEGO calendars.
But I will vouch for the amazing goodness of this calendar. It is definitely worth the 40 dollars. As for the 25 shipping to the States? That's how every purchase from the States to Canada goes...

Thanks - I have never ordered from them before. I got the advent calendar, filters, 3 free samples and free shipping. $50 total. Due to be delivered Nov 6th I can't wait to get them.
PS: I am in the US.

disneypal I just did the same thing. I added the filters to my order and got free shipping. At the last minute I ended up adding the travel mug too. I'm hoping that the mug keeps the tea warm for quite some time - for $32.00 it should. The whole order is part of a b-day present for dd#6. Her b-day is Nov. 6th and it's scheduled to arrive on the 6th. Great timing

Mine came today - I love pretty shipping!
Unfortunately they sent me the wrong infuser, so I will be waiting a bit to try anything.

Just an FYI for Americans ordering from Canada. My total bill in USD was $80.14, so I paid 14 cents more to have it shipped from Canada.
Don't get fooled by the numbers!

Just an FYI for Americans ordering from Canada. My total bill in USD was $80.14, so I paid 14 cents more to have it shipped from Canada. Don't get fooled by the numbers! The difference could be the exchange rate. On the Cdn site it is Cdn$ and on the USA site it is USA$.
Currently, the USA$ is worth more than the Cdn$.
Enjoy your tea. My order arrived yesterday. Christmas shopping is officially done!

Mine arrived today! The box was blue and soooo pretty! It was fun to open. My tea box has a little bend on the corner like it was dropped... I can unbend it a little but there's still a little crease. ... Should I say something to them? It's just for me. Not a gift. It's not that bad but kinda bugs me that it's not "perfect" Can't wait to try the tea onDec 1! Thank goodness I got some samples for now. LOL
