Last year I made a lot of scrappy holiday gifts, from calendars to framed layouts. Haven't decided what I'm going to do for this year yet.
Are any of you working on gifts to be given in the coming month?

I'm trying to decide if I want to make us all matching PJs again this year. I made some the year DD was two and it was so funny. I was going to just make them for myself and DD out of red Elmo flannel and when DH saw what I was working on he said, "Hey, *I* want some, too!" If I do it though, this year I will make her a nightgown instead of PJ pants because that's what she likes.
The only other homemade gifts I typically give are Christmas cookies and homemade salted caramels, but occasionally I change things up and do something different.

I want to, but just don't think I'll have time this year. If I have time, I'd love to make some felt food sets for my niece.

I'm making 2 afghans for a baby shower next month and then 4 more for Christmas along with 5 doll afghans (I might end up having to make 2 more full-sized afghans based on hints I've gotten). Plus, I need to make at least 2 necklace/bracelet sets.

Yes, I am working on my handmade Christmas gifts this week, but none of them are scrapbook gifts.
For each of my daughters-in-law, I am making a Lost Sock sign with clothes pins for the stray socks. The phrase on the sign (Clean, Single, Looking for sole mate) will be cut from vinyl with my Silhouette, and applied to the sign. The paint is drying now, so I can hopefully have it finished in a day or so.
I will be doing some etched glass projects for some of the others on my list. Again, I will be using my Silhouette to cut the vinyl for the etching. I use etching cream. Easy peasy.
I have a few other projects that I hope to make for gifts, but they will be sewing projects.

Lat year I made cute shadow boxes with bells in them. They had Jingle All the Way on the glass. After I gave the tenth one to my son's girlfriend I realized I hadn't saved one and I really liked them. I was too lazy to make number 11. I haven't made any gifts yet, but I have a few friends that scrap and would like to make them travel page kits.

I will, I'm just not sure exactly what for everyone. I usually make my mom and MIL (and sometimes whomever I draw in our family exchange) something. I've done glass etched casserole dishes, framed altered art for their houses, etc. Actually last year I made the Jingle all the Way frames like Nancy mentioned and they turned out so cute! So I need to come up with an idea.... DS usually makes something for the grandparents as well, so I need to come up with that idea too. We did hand/footprint reindeer last year and framed them. They turned out cute! I also want to make a Santa Sack for DS and possibly for my nieces. And I want to make aprons out of some vintage tea towels we found at my grandma's house (she passed away this year) for my nieces too. I guess I'd better get busy.

i have made two quilts that just need to have the bindings sewn and then they will be ready to go. i am also going to be making some journals (cinch binding) with sewn linen and hand stitched covers. i usually make some ornaments for present toppers and some cookies and loaves for gifts for neighbours. i love the ideas in this thread though and would love to see a 'jingle all the way' box! (hint, hint…photo?)

In my head, all of the gifts are handmade. In reality, everything under the tree will come from Amazon a week before Christmas.

They will be similar to the lower right sign shown in the link below, only mine are white with black letters, have 5 clothes pins instead of 3, have slightly different phrasing, and use a different font: Lost Sock Sign

I am curious about the jingle all the way things to.
I make a scrapbook every year for my MIL and usually make her a calendar as well but can't find the base. I also make her an ornament. She may not get a calendar as she doesn't like normal sized ones just little ones and no one carries them this year and I don't want to make one from scratch or kit.
Made my hubby and FIL some memory game things I have had in my stash for a while basically a little box with chipboard squares. One dude if the squares is patterned paper and the other side is a photo from this year.
I am also doing local gifts this year to. Local wines and jelly.

I made baby albums for mom and MIL last year. This year, I'm doing 12x12 shadowboxes with very dimensional scrapbook layouts with both kids. I wasn't sure the albums would go over last year, but when my MIL got her mini album last Xmas, she cried, and she's not a crier. So I think I'm on the right track!
Everyone else, Amazon!

Here you go, ladies! Here's the Jingle all the Way tutorial from Kerri Bradford's blog. I pretty much made mine just like hers. These were really easy and fun! The Silhouette store has a similar cut file if you want to go that route. www.kerribradford.com/2013/10/20/jingle-all-the-way/If you want to make these, go buy the jingle bells now with coupons or when they put the Christmas craft stuff on sale. I remember having a hard time finding them in the right size closer to Christmas, after I decided to make myself one too! I bought both the bells and frames at Hobby Lobby.

I am, but they're not scrapbooking. Well I might make a little album for my sister. But I'm crocheting like mad at the moment and making a blanket for mum, and a cuddly squirrel for my BF.

I just finished Halloween treat tags and need to start Christmas ones. Not strenuous but at least I get crafty.
I'd like to find something meaningful or fun to make for my parents. But it's hard, they are decluttering and every extra "thing" worries them.

I just started to think about it. Need some ideas!!!! My 17 year old daughter asked me to make her a recipe book for when she moves out next year. She said it'll be a touch of home to take with her.

I'm making two things this year -- some cute bottle cap/cobachon paper clips for stocking stuffers. I bought some, and my daughter has been begging for some. I thought they make make a nice small gift for my son to give to all his girl friends (which are most of his friends.)
And I'm helping DD make a photo book through Shutterfly with a coupon. She wants to give it to her boyfriend for Christmas.
I might make that Jingle all the Way frame, that's really cute.
For future plans, I want to make a recipe photo book of my grandmother's baking recipes. I have all her old index cards that were typed and then marked up in her handwriting. I know my aunts and cousins and sisters would LOVE a copy. There are about 20 recipes that we use all the time. But that's for next Christmas.

I'm knitting a hat for DH. I finally found a pattern that I can customize for the pee wee team he coaches.

I make spiced nuts every year for a particular set of friends of the family we get together with every year. Everyone seems to like them and I feel good giving a gift that won't cause clutter, is safe for the diabetic, and is super easy to make.

Check out Taylored Expressions blog, they have a super cute SMALL calendar that is about 3"x4" or so. The top part has a printed colored spot that can be decorated and the calendar part below is preprinted. It's not really a kit, but could be customized however you want. They also have dies and stamps that would coordinate with it, but you could really put anything on there. Here is a link. Taylored Expressions 2016 Calendar

No, I don't make any gifts. It's all I can do to get my photos scrapped. I totally understand that feeling. I am so behind I have hardly scrapped at all this year. I only need to do one more layout and then I am done with Christmas. I cheated and mostly did digital pages and I don't feel guilty at all. Having the Christmas stuff over my head seems to just suck all the creative juices from my body. Hubby is gone this weekend or at least all day Saturday and I am hoping to scrap most of the day. It means I have to work my butt off tomorrow but it will be worth it. I hope I can get in the mood and get a lot of pages started or better yet finished. Just hoping to feel really creative for a change. DS will be thrilled to be able to play his games and hoping we will watch a few movies while I am working.

I would like to make my hubby a calendar for his office at work of his favorite hunting photos and some family photos as well. I would like to make my granddaughter a advent countdown for her small Christmas tree I bought her for her room last year. I made one for valentines a year ago and would like to do a similar one for her but add some different favors to it and of course do it for 25 days rather then just 14. Here is a link to that tree I did. Valentine Countdown TreeI would also like to make her a advent calendar like this one I made last year. Advent Calendar

Last year I made a bunch of mason jar toppers with candies inside. They were a big hit. And I really loved putting them together. I used a Papertrey Ink set called "Tinsel and Tags". This year I'm using their newest set "Holiday Lane". I'm going to give them out to all of the teachers at my girls' schools and the nurses who are taking care of my Mom. But family and friends will get store bought stuff this year. PTI Mason Jar gifts
