I listened to Never Let Me Go. I'm a bit mixed in my response to it. On the one hand, I did enjoy the story, but on the other, the entire time, once I knew the twist, I kept wondering who is the character who is going to rebel against the system? Where are the people in the community that take a stand against what is being done to that population? I don't read much dystopian and every book I've read in this genre, it has been YA. So maybe this is what an adult dystopian book is like? It was quite a depressing topic, but I'd did like the characters. Like a previous pea, I decided to watch the movie as well. It followed the book pretty well and was just as depressing
