How do some of you have nearly 500 posts already? Holy smokes! I'm serious. Do you comment on every single post, or what? A tip of the hat to you, my friends. I am loving this new board!

I'm not here all that often and was surprised to see today that I'm over 100. I love it here, too!

I'm just over 300. I don't comment on every thread, hell I don't even open all of them. I do at times comment multiple times per thread.
Also, I'm on break, when I go back in a couple of weeks ky post count will drop dramatically
ETA: apparently this was post 444, so a little more than just over 300

I've been wondering that too. How do you all have so much to say? Also, are you that chatty in real life?

I have a little more than 400. Don't know how I got there! I don't feel like I post that much. But obviously . . .
FWIW, I am really chatty IRL.

Getting to 100 was an accomplishment for me! Took me 7 years to get to 1500 at the bucket!

I've been a Pea for 12 years so I feel comfortable chatting here. It did take me a while to get to my 9000+ posts in the old pod, but I did post more in my last 4 or 5 years than my first 7-8 years.
I also post more than once in some threads and depending on who I'm with I'm shy or chatty IRL.

I've been here since the second day, and I'm still trying to get to 50. Hopefully soon!

I rarely posted on 2peas. I'm just trying to be active so I can make friends and hopefully the more active people are the better change this board will stay afloat.

I always wonder what the highest posters do irl. Work? pea at work, stay at home? How is it physically possible to be in front of the computer for the length of time to post that much?

Honestly I've no idea!! I'm not a big chatter in real life particularly, there are loads of threads I don't even open so I certainly don't reply to everything.....it just crept up! I do have a few days a week when I'm at home so I get a chance to pop on and off between chores and housework etc, also, I always sit and have my first cup of tea of the day reading what the peas have been talking about while I was asleep and I will go back several times and keep up a conversation if a thread gets interesting and I'm around...other than that, I don't know. It's slightly embarrassing because I do have a life!

I work part time. How is it physically possible? - it really doesn't take that much time. You can post answers in a few seconds especially if it's a thread you've already read and are just catching up on, often maybe there're only 'thumbs up' emoticons etc. My kids are adults, my DH works very long hours...it's not that big a deal.

It's quite easy to get lots of posts, especially if you've already commented and then just add smilies or agree with other posters. I always felt that my low post count on the old board didn't really reflect how chatty I am in real life so I am trying to put that right here!

For me, the difference is that it is easier to post from my phone. I had issues with the 2peas app.

I am with you there. I am nowhere near being in the high posters club, I officially hate being tied to the computer but I spend hours on the time sucker. I work in our own business, have to respond pretty quickly to clients who have me on retainer, so when I check mails and other official stuff I take a quick look here or at scrapping blogs and, quick as a wink, hours have passed .

Sleepless nights, and a few days off did it for me. I wasn't on at all for a whole 24 hours from Tuesday evening.
