I swore I wasn't buying any paper until January 1st last summer. I did pretty well...only caved on the OA new Christmas line and some cardstock from TM.
I am back in the freezer, except for adhesive and page protectors. I can't keep all my patterned paper on the shelf designated in my scrap space. I've had to overflow to the basement.
Anyone else want to join me?

Sounds like a plan to me!
Other than photo printing, adhesive, and page protectors.

It's not really the same but besides my sub, I want to contain myself. So I'm in.

I would love to join in the freeze. I really have SO MUCH unused papers and embellishments. My problem is that I get tempted by the newest pretty papers that I know will be gone if I don't buy them right away. Crate Paper and Websters Pages come to mind. Guess I have to get out of the FOMO mindset. Which is so difficult! Any advice for that? So far in 2016 I've had 4 opportunities to buy items I love. I've only succumbed to one. I just had to have the papers from FJ. At least I didn't buy the entire kit. That's a step in the right direction, right?

I'm in ! The only thing I plan to buy this year besides adhesive is We R Memories Albums. I have some layouts that have not seen a book yet and I am also planning to redo my wedding album.

I really didn't NEED the OA paper, but it's so cute and OA is hard to find... The one thing that helps me is reminding myself there is always another cute line being released. If I miss out on this one, I can get the next one. I also put things in my online cart, but don't complete the order. I often end up removing it and never buying it.

I have been really good about my spending. I have only allowed myself to buy the solid colored Craft Smith paper pads that Michaels has sold for 5.00 and 6.00. I've purchased a few dies, but that's pretty much it. I'm trying to downsize my stash.

I don't know how long I will go I am a ctmh consultant so I may have to spend to make my minimum. I had planned to order this month and think I will wait and then I just need to avoid TM, Marshals, HL, J, and M. I have purchased way too much lately thanks to this site so I don't think a month should be too difficult my goal is to use what I have. Today I finally broke out my new pencils and coloring book. Loved them . I also did a bit of knitting and stamping.

I also put things in my online cart, but don't complete the order. I often end up removing it and never buying it. I do this. I often find that things I add to my cart when they are new and shiny do not seem so appealing when I come to hit buy on my cart - and sometimes the cost of my cart is enough to make me be ruthless on what I actually purchase. I feel like this would be a good thing for me to do but I'll be honest, I'm very nervous on my ability to follow through. I might follow Scrapper100's lead and aim for no purchases to the end of Jan.

I'm in (with a small allowance!) I decided this was the year to really use my cameo and of course the massive stash I've accumulated. My goals are my Pooh bear book, my pet book and my ddd1 t-shirt quilt; all of which I need to buy nothing! I have wish lists at a few places that I look at and update. I'll wait for 50% off and free shipping (usually March) and the scrapbook expo in June.

I'm in, with the exception of adhesive and white cardstock. Other than that, I really don't need anything.

Me too. The shopping method, and the ability to follow through on not buying anything. My plan is to earn things on the reward system. Cleaned out and decluttered the hall closet, so I can find things? Small Reward. Finally organized/labeled the utility room cabinets? Reward! I think that is a win/win for me.

I will be on somewhat of a freeze, since I don't plan on buying anything except my monthly sub to the AE Story Kit, and the basics like white cardstock/adhesive. That said.... there is a stamp and a set of journal cards of Ali's that I really want... Once I get my WITL 2015 and my December Daily finished I will let myself buy them

I'm going to try really really hard to not buy any scrap stuff...at least for 6 months. I have way too much and need to use some of it up.
Saving for a small remodel project of out house too, so that goal will hopefully help me not spend on things I don't need!

I'm still in the cold as well. LOL! Hubby has been out of work since the end of August so there isn't any cash for non essentials anyway. Makes it easy to keep on track and besides I have a room full of supplies to keep me going.

I'm on a freeze after this week.I gave myself $20 to spend on supplies, and then the plan is to not buy anything else the rest of the year except for the actual books (I digital scrap) I have quite a bit of digital supplies now and can't justify buying more when I can change things or find them free online, but I figured I needed a treat now.

I need to join you! I have SO....MUCH.....PAPER!! It is ridiculous, really. But then I think, I HAVE to buy to support my LSS and my favorite online stores, because I don't want them to close. (As if they rely solely on me... )

Like so many of you, I don't need anything - and really won't for a reeeaallly long time!
However (isn't there always a 'however'?), I got a Cameo for Christmas and I can't see how I can be expected to play with it and not spend a little bit of money, right?
As far as paper, cardstock & embellishments go, I am all in on the freeze!

I also do not NEED anything but would rather put myself on a budget. I will need basic cardstock, adhesive, albums, pictures and page protectors. If I don't look I don't need and then I don't shop

My laptop of 7 years died and I had to replace it! All I'll be buying is adhesive, possibly more page protectors, and doing photo orders (haven't ordered in a long time). I can easily do my PL style 2014 and 2015 albums. I'll do lots of page planning/kits to keep me busy for a while. I hope to go to the Let's Create Expo in Salt Lake City in April. By then, I *hope* to have things more organized, I'll know what items I want to buy.

@scrappersoccermom you lasted a good 12 days! that has to count for something And it was pure torture! Too funny! I loved getting a box in the mail every month, full of scrappy goodies. I dropped them a few years ago and still miss that fun. I'm still frozen. I bought a few albums last week, but needed them. I haven't bought anything else. I have a few things in a wish list, but I am NOT buying them, lol.

I bought some Goldie from Seven Paper because it's going away and I found a store that had everything I wanted. But I actually rewarded myself before I did anything to deserve it.
However, that as been rectified because I have clean out almost all of my closet and have two boxes of stuff ready for the Goodwill! I am going to try to get another one filled before I actually go tommorrow.

Okay, I fudged just a little bit.
I bought a 97 cent pack of stickers because they will go perfectly with a few of my dd's layouts. It matches what she was for Halloween, and some stuff with her school functions.
