When I go to crops I finish a layout, put it away and start a new one. Then, when I pull it out at home to put in an album I almost always add something else. Do you ever do this?

Sometimes.
I used to feel this weird guilt, or inhibition, that once a layout was done it had to remain done. But now if I see something that would really help it along, I add it. As long as it's not too much of a pain in the neck to do.

No one has knocked on my door and yelled at me yet.

I usually don't change a LO often, but after one is done, looking at it a few days later, I see it with new eyes, and maybe make a slight change or add something. Never a big redo.

I don't. I consider it done and move on to the next thing, but only because I'm afraid it would be never ending changes if I allowed myself to!

Can't say that I would never do it, but I haven't as of yet. I already takes hours to complete one, agonizing over every little thing. If I went back and redid them, I would be a lot further than the 11 years behind that I already am.

Yes, sometimes. If I think it still needs a little something I leave it on my desk till I figure out what it needs.

I won't put it in the album until I feel like it's truly finished. But, in looking back through my album, if I find a LO needs a little extra something, then I'll add it. I'm not saying I never do it, but it's rare that I change a LO once it's in an album.

I usually put a page away for a day or night and then look at it fresh. Usually it's just something small that is needed... a splatter, some small embellishments, a bit of attention around the border/page edge.

I do get a naggy feeling when I suspect a layout is not quite 'finished'. I'll just let it sit on the craft table for a couple of days. Usually coming back to it after a short break, I'll manage to add a couple of embellishments to make it feel complete. Only then do I photograph it and put it into the album which is when it's considered 'done'

Yes, sometimes it does help to be away from it for a little while. You just might see it needs one more thing.

Never.
I feel like I'm so far behind as it is, I'm just glad to get them done and in the book.

Sometimes when I work late at night I will recheck it with " new eyes" in the morning.

Once they're in a protector that's usually it. But I sometimes leave them out after 'finishing' if I feel like there's something missing or I'm not sure of the overall effect.

Yes. Sometimes I'll leave a layout on my desk for a few days if I think it just needs a little something but I have pulled layouts back out of albums if they bother me when I flip through and added or changed things to make them work better.

I've never been to crop but this is exactly the reason I'm such a slow scrapper. I usually will leave a page on my desk for awhile and just keeping adding stuff and taking things away until it finally feels right.

One of the things I love about digiscrapping is the ability to quickly edit without any muss or fuss. In fact, I've edited layouts a number of times after posting online. (Usually on 2Ps). Most often this was due to a spelling error or digital error, not a change in design. At some point in the past year or so, if I edited a photo on the 2Ps gallery by replacing it with a new (corrected) layout, the whole entry would disappear. This didn't happen if I edited my description, just the image. So I had to be more careful before I posted. I probably should have been more careful in the first place!
Short answer: I change my layouts all the time.

I usually don't, but then I am mostly doing Project Life layouts these days. But you definitely should edit if you want to, even if the layout is years old. There is no right and wrong with this hobby

When I finish a layout at a crop and realized I don't have the perfect ______ to finish the page, I'll finish it up when I get home. Otherwise, when I consider a layout done, it's pretty much done. There are some pages that don't come together right and I'll fix them but they were never considered done so I don't count that in this question. ha!!

Never. I feel like I'm so far behind as it is, I'm just glad to get them done and in the book. Exactly! I think only once have I added anything to a finished page.

Not often. I am likely to set a layout aside for a few days if I don't love it. Looking at it with fresh eyes really helps.

Sometimes. I'm working on a page right now that i feel calls for a few smaller enamel dots. But I don't have the right size in the proper colors right now. So I'll finish every thing else on it, and then when I have the dots I will add them.
Sometimes I find that as I look through my albums the same LO will keep catching my eye in a not good way, and I will decide that it needs one more litle thing. And in those cases I will go back and edit those, too.

I never completely finish a layout away from home. I always add something more.

If I went to crops, I'd most definitely have things to add once I got home. At home I just stick it into the almost done pile waiting for inspiration to hit as to what it needs.

If it is still on my table or on my shelf, I do. Only when it is filed into protector sheets in albums then I don't

I did that very thing this week. I did a page that goes into a vacation album, and when I slipped it in it's new home, I ended up tweaking the facing page a bit to make it coordinate better with the new one. I think I just switched out one of my layering papers with a scrap from the new page, so it would kind of mesh a bit more to my liking. I had completed the older page months ago.

I've done this many times. I'll even use a post-it note to remind me to add an embellie like bling or brad.
