Age and menopause has really changed my skin. What is the best full coverage foundation that covers flawlessly but does not look cakey or heavy? Does everyone wear a face moisturizer? TIA for your help !

I like Revlon Colorstay. They make one for normal skin and one for combo/oily. A bottle goes a long way, it has good coverage but doesn't feel gross or rub off. It gets awesome reviews on Ulta, MakeupAlley, etc. I can't justify buying a fancier brand with as pleased as I am with the Colorstay. I only use a moisturizer in the winter on my face, otherwise mine is too oily by mid-day. You certainly can though. Also, have you tried a primer? Totally recommend the Monistat anit-chafing gel, it is the exact same as the expensive Smashbox photo finish primer.

I use Pond's BB cream and then Bare Minerals foundation (the powder) over top of that to kind of "set" the cream. It works for me.
I have very fair, pale skin but lots of tiny little broken capillaries along my cheekbones and a very uneven skin tone.

I use Revelon Colorstay and True Match by Loreal. I like them both and think they both give pretty full coverage. I usually use a primer under foundation, over my moisturizer and I think that helps get a longer wear and better finish.

I use neutrogena. It seems to be the only foundation I've had any luck with that is a medium coverage but I can get the right color. It seems every time I try something new it doesn't cover right and the color is never right. My skin is normal to dry too.

Vichy dermablend works great for me, it covers really well, well enough to not need a separate concealor and only a tiny amount is needed. It costs around €22 (in Ireland)and a tube lasts for months.

Yes I use moisturizer morning and night. I like the hope in a jar but it is spendy. I am using something I got a Costco-don't remember the name. I have been using bare minerals for many years. It is light but covers nicely. I can't tell I have it on except when I wipe it off at night and the cloth has color on it. I am a 40 something, if that helps.

Believe it or not, at 50 I still have oily skin. Because of this, I rarely use moisturizer.
I use Bare Minerals. Love it.

I've been wearing a foundation from Urban Decay that I got at Ultra called, "Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup". I heard about it on here-well on the Two Peas board. It's amazing! It comes in 18 shades, covers really well, but looks like you are wearing nothing and feels like you are wearing nothing. It's not cheap-$39.00 but worth every single penny. Plus Ultra always has coupons out there. They sell it at Sephora too. Ask the girls who work there for help to match you to a shade. You can return it at both stores if you don't like it. I LOVE this stuff! I'm 54.
I do wear a primer underneath, but you don't have to. MIne is from Smashbox.

PS When I said "looks like you are wearing nothing I meant that you face is perfect. Not that you are wearing nothing period. What would be the point of that?.

Revlon Colorstay Whipped. I used to use the liquid Colorstay, but it's a bit drying for my skintype. I am absolutely in love with the Whipped, so much so that when I found my color on sale at KMart I bought 4 tubs. I set it with a dusting of Bare Minerals and it's perfect for hours, doesn't settle and look cakey, and doesn't flake or look heavy. I'm pretty pale and they have a good range of colors to fit my summer and winter skin tones.

Still using bare minerals for everyday natural look makeup. For nighttime, more dramatic look I use Chanel Vitalumiere

I use a fairly light moisturizer for daytime use since it's so humid here. It's the Mario Badescu daytime one. For daily use, I just use the L'oreal BB cream - the white tube with the purple cap. But for nights out or special occasions, I use the Dior Airflash spray foundation. It seriously is the best foundation I've ever used and my skin looks flawless. It is expensive, but it never goes bad because the contents are never exposed to air.

I been using the regular Revlon colorstay for years but in the past few months it is starting to look very caked on. Maybe I will try the whipped.

I use Revlon Colorstay Whipped applied with a brush. It covers my rosacea well, although I sometimes use Palladio banana concealer to combat the additional redness. For primer, I use the Monistat Chafing Cream that took the old boards by storm. Unfortunately, none of this minimizes my pores. I rarely wear makeup but keep returning to the Revlon because it's so hard for me to find decent coverage that doesn't feel like a mask or irritate my skin.

I also love the Urban Decay Naked foundation - it's a bit spendy, though. My favorite drugstore brand is Maybelline Age Rewind, but not in this heat/humidity. When it's this hot I just use the L'Oreal BB Cream and some concealer. Anything else ends up looking cake-y.

I use a L'oreal foundation Color Match? I think. I like it ok. But I have thought of changing. However, I cannot go without my Monistate Chafing Cream underneath my foundation. Best find ever! I was using Laura Mercier primer and I like the Monistat much better!

Bare Minerals powder. Love it! I CANNOT STAND the feeling of makeup on my face and I don't even know that I have this product on. I love that it hides what I want hidden, but isn't obvious that I'm wearing makeup.
Daily moisturizer is Oil of Olay.

I wear either Mary Kay or Clinique. Unfortunately, I have skin allergies and everything else seems to make my eyes swell or I get hives. I use Mary Kay moisturizer, too. The older I get, the more dry my skin gets.

I had used Bare Minerals for years and then decided I wanted to try liquid again. I got several samples from Sephora and really like Makeup Forever HD foundation but it is expensive. I searched for dupes and found Revlon Photoready. I could not tell a difference between that and the MUFE HD. I also bought a Revlon Naked foundation that I assume is supposed to be similar to Urban Decay Naked foundation. I like that, too, although I can't compare it to the UD since I haven't tried that.
That being said, I was recently at Ulta and the salesperson talked me into trying Pur minerals (I had used that in the past as well) and I really like it. I bought a trial kit and may now try Bare Minerals again. I have been using an exfoliating product, which I think helps tremendously with the caking.

Another Revlon ColorStay user here. I love love love it! I switched to ColorStay after Neutrogena started feeling dull on my skin. I apply the ColorStay with a foundation brush and it lasts through a fast paced 13-hour shift at work.
