Hi,
The time is winding down on Two Peas, so what last-minute activities are you doing? I went back over my bookmarks and printed out a few more of some favorite layouts I had missed. I downloaded a few more Glitter Girl/Garden Girl videos, printed some recipes and a few threads about scrappy stuff.
I just get a big 'ol lump in my stomach thinking about Two Peas no longer being around. The community here was my "friend" for over 12 years and had seen me through all of life's biggest events.

I'll probably regret it but I haven't saved anything. Screen shots of badges and a few others were all. Maybe I should double check any digi purchases to be sure I've got them.

I catching up on the gallery and doing some pinning and feeling really, really nostalgic. It's a loss that I find hard to define. I know that it's going to be weird when it's not there anymore. Ten years of visiting that site all the time...  |

I may go on tonight, but I think I have saved what I want. I saved some screen shots, downloaded some stuff, moved my gallery to scrapbook.com. I have also pinned a lot of Lo's.
I am thankful scrapbook.com made it easy to save our LO's but I just have not "clicked" over there. I guess I need to head that way more, but I love the message board here. It just feels like home.

Not for me.
I'm hoping any threads I bookmarked will be revisited here (stocking stuffer ideas, college tuition financial aid advice, etc.).
I didn't have anything in the gallery, so that's moot.
I will miss them, though. I'd been a Pea for 12 years. They were one of the first sites I bought something from online. It is a sad day, indeed.

I too haven't done anything - I did poke around a bit tonight, but it is kind of sad with no activity on the boards, which is where I hung out, never did buy anything there, as they never had what I needed/wanted. Thought about printing my bookmarks, but decided against it as the good ones will come around again here.
but what I am wondering is do they mean to shut down on the 24th (today) or on Friday (cuz they say Friday 7/24....) We'll see tomorrow I guess

It's so sad! :-(. I went over there to copy my pea title, number of posts, badges, etc., but that's all I took. I'll miss the weekly videos, but at least we were all able to find each other here. Here's to the end of an era. . .

I've downloaded most of the threads that were important to me as a pdf. Earlier, I actually printed a few pages that were important and just now, went and printed the General Scrappin' version of the thread where I got my 5,000 posts and my new pea title and what it was about. I'm now going back for the NSBR thread about the same thing and then I think I'll be done.
I will SO miss the gallery... we can bring everything and everyone else but not the gallery. At least I have MY gallery.

I got pretty much everything I wanted in the first week or so after the announcement and I haven't been back since. I keep thinking I should just randomly flip through the gallery one more time but I don't know that I'll actually do it. Here is where I belong now and while I'm sorry to see everything over there go, I think I've already moved on.

I got what I wanted before the original deadline, mainly the long recipe threads, which is why it took so long to get over here to join. It is tempting to go through the gallery again, but really, most people whose work I admired I follow on Pinterest, anyway. So probably not much more. I just sent 2Peas an email to thank them for everything. I don't think I have much left to do. Other than maybe go and see if I watched all the Wilna videos. So sad I didn't get to take her art classes, but the one time I tried they had a glitch and couldn't take my card. Thought I'd try again later this year, but of course that didn't work out. I will miss the videos. I had wanted to watch all of the Glitter Girl videos, but didn't get very many watched. I still automatically go to the website. A habit after being a pea for over 11 years.

I downloaded everything I wanted before the deadline. I just went there curious to see if the site would load and it did.
I will miss it but have gotten into the habit of checking this site and other sources instead.

I'm done getting my favorited layouts pinned and videos from TwoPeas, and I have all my digital files backed up (which weren't many). I've checked it the last couple days out of curiosity to see if the site was still up, but that's all it is, curiosity. I don't really need to go back. |

I had everything I wanted before the first deadline. I noticed the site was still up this morning, but that might just be a matter of time for them to coordinate with their web people to get it taken down.

Well, if the store is gone then probably the gallery and message boards will disappear tonight. It said Friday the 24th but that isn't the correct date so they probably meant it to go out tonight. As I said, I will miss that beautiful gallery.

I wonder what Kristina and Jeff (that was his name, right?) plan to do now. I "think" that was their full-time business? I know they are selling exclusives on Etsy, but I wouldn't think that would support a family.
TwoPeas had their ups and their downs, but I always thought it was great they started with their vision, and it grew to what it was. It was a great accomplishment, and a huge success. I remember seeing pictures of the 2Peas Christmas parties, and then the pictures/videos of their new bigger warehouse. There was so much excitement there.
I can't help but feel so sad for them.

General Scrappin' is gone. FSOT LOOKS to be gone until you click last 3 months on the drop down box. NSBR looks to have ONLY 2 pages of threads until you do the same. Very odd them going out with a whimper, not a bang.
