They've gotten new (brand name) papers, kits and stacks in the last two Julys. I wonder if it's happening again.
Thanks Admin for Refugee board. It's nice to ask that question and not feel I'll be banned.

I was there the other day and I didn't notice anything major going on at mine but we are getting a new store soon so I am not sure how much will happen here until then.
I agree, it is wonderful to be able to discuss these things.

Just went to the new one that opened by me. I didn't see a much I haven't already seen. In fact, the racks only had 2-3 of each item on them. I'm guessing they're waiting to see what sells before they go all out?
Happy to have one near me, though!

I'm not sure if this is considered a brand name, but I picked up an adorable paper pad by Fancy Pants today at mine.

I was just there today. I've been out of the sb loop for a while, but decided to get going again thanks to this board. I looked at PL stuff, I've not seen any "in person." Not sure what is new, but one thing I did notice is that there seemed to be a large amount of product branded "Paper Studio." Stickers, embellies, paper, etc. Is this a Hobby Lobby brand? Don't remember it from my previous HL sb shopping.

It's nice to ask that question and not feel I'll be banned. I can't wait for our Hobby Lobby to open in the spring! And seriously agree with you. Its so nice not having to worry about TOU and being banned or deleted.

I stopped in at my Hobby Lobby this afternoon for something real quick, but they had moved almost everything around so it was hard to tell (for me, anyway) what was new and what wasn't. Took me twice as long as I planned to find what I needed, also.

I don't care for their HL brand too much. I wish they had a better selection of stacks!

I did see some paper kits by real scrapping manufacturers (as opposed to their store brand) back next to the Project Life stuff, but they didn't look like the kits were just for Project Life scrappers.
Also, they carry Silhouette products. They let you use their coupon on Silhouette blades & mats.

I was there the other day and noticed some stamps I haven't seen before there but I haven't been in awhile - like Prima Doll stamps, jillibean soup stamps, etc. they also have "newish" Echo Park collection kits and Teresa Collins. Their paper pad section looked pretty empty so assuming they will be getting newer stuff soon.

My HL is only a few months new and always seems to be organizing and moving things around in a near-empty SB section.

Of course, I understand WHY they do it...the longer you are in the store, the more $$$ you will spend!

I saw project life stuff when I was there a few weeks ago. That was about it besides their Paper Studio stuff. I like their embellishments and their good prices on those, but the paper not so much.

Mine doesn't have anything exciting right now. My Michaels has almost everything in the scrapbooking section on clearance which is good news I'm hoping because it seems they'll have to replace it all with new product!!

Nothing new at mine and they've cut their scrapbooking section in 1/2 or more!

I was there today and found this fairly new Carta Bella Collection Pack. A lot of the pack spots were empty, they must be getting ready to do a reset of that area. This collection pack had to have been made for HL exclusively, it was $19.99 and had 22 double-sided sheets of paper (11 designs, 2 of each) and a sticker sheet. The pack that sold at other stores, like ACOT, was $14.99 and only had 12 sheets and a sticker sheet. Attachment Deleted

The Hobby Lobby in Rivergate had a bunch of product in boxes. I couldn't tell if it was new stuff being put out or old stuff being boxed up. Hopefully new stuff is on the way. By the way Tracie - I'm loving the podcast. You ladies crack me up. I live in middle TN and have never had a scrappy podcast produced around where I live - it's cool because when you guys reference something local I can totally relate.

The hobby Lobby in Fayetteville got in some new paper stacks of the HL brand. I bought a couple of them, one called Country roads that had a lot of barnwood/floral papers that I thought were really pretty and another one called barnwoods or something like that. They had several new ones and some brand names.

I don't want to turn this into a political thread, but I just can't shop at Hobby Lobby anymore ...I just don't think the ruling in their favor is a good thing. I can get what I need either inline or at Michael's. But I still eat at Chic Fil A!

I had to go yesterday and they were reworking the scrap section. They'd emptied most of the pads, and had some of the name brand ones on clearance. There was an 8x8 OA Travel Girl pad for about $5.
Unfortunately the only new paper was store brand. Most shelves were empty, hope they still get name brands.
There was a three foot section cleared near stickers that had new tags for veneers. Some of the little SC packages were there.

Mine put so much on clearance a couple months ago that I thought they were getting rid of scrapbooking stuff permanently. Then they got some new stuff in, mostly Project Life-style stuff, and things seemed to settle down in that department. I have so much stuff at home, and their stock changes so infrequently, that I don't go there much.

Was so glad to see a bunch of old lines in the clearance section and probably a dozen open slots in their places. They already had probably 10 new collections.

I am going to a Hobby Lobby for the first time next week when I am on vacation. I am from Ontario and we don't have that store here. Where I camp I can cross over to the US and shop at the store in Syracuse, NY. I can't wait to check it out. Just hope I don't get hit with too much duty returning across border.
