I can't imagine not being upset. I think his actions were impulsive, dangerous and stupid. It would make me think that I could not leave my children alone with him. I hope that this was an isolated incident and not just the worst thing in a string of questionable behavior.

He did both burn offs with the garage door closed? Where did he think those fumes were going to go? That would add to my anger. Who lights any fire without ventilation, especially a gasoline fire?

Yeah, I'd have lost my shizz on DH too, AND he would have got mad at me for pointing out his obvious dumbassery (BTDT!). I would also have called the fire department in just to have them validate the fire was out, house was safe, and (hopefully) a lecture.

You know...for 2016 my goal is to not fly off the handle about things so quickly. I want to be better about stopping and thinking before speaking or reacting.
So with that being said....after reading the OP I did just that. I went on about my day pondering how I would react if my DH did that and I got nothing. Absolutely nothing. I would have lost my mind over that and it would be a VERY, VERY long time before I could speak to him. I mean seriously?!?? Thank goodness the only thing ruined was the paint and no injuries or death occurred.
