Smoked whatever just because you can. So over this.
A tablespoon of purée whatever smudged/ smear across the plate.
4 drops of sauce. What the hell.

Kale and quinoa everything. I love them both and eat them nearly every day, but enough is enough. Kale has no place on pizza and neither does quinoa.

Pumpkin Spice anything. It is bad enough during fall, but I am still seeing it at the grocery store. Yogurt, oatmeal, coffee creamer, popcorn, beer, cookies, ice cream. Just go away pumpkin spice, then maybe the salted caramel revolution can finally start!

Not a bad dinner, and we don't get cable. But a do watch master chef.
I would absolutely bitch about four drops of sauce.

I have a hard time getting mad about food trends since 9 times out of 10 I control what I order at a restaurant or cook at home.

Aioli. Every single local restaurant insists on putting some kind of aioli on tons of their menu items. It started a year or so ago, it's just gotten to the point where at certain places when I order I say "And if that comes with aioli I don't want any".

Pork belly - we gave it a couple of tries and now I laugh when I see it used & raved about on Top Chef or another cooking show.
Truffle fries are a thing here and there is only one restaurant that gets it right. A little truffle oil goes a long way and anything more leaves a nasty, oily aftertaste.

I want gag when I see truffle fries. Seriously! Just how expensive are truffles and truffle products? There is no way that a middle of the row restaurant can afford truffle fries.

I do agree with both of those. We are not fans of truffle fries they can be nasty. Pork belly can go either way I have had it when it's good and other times it was just a slice of fat on top of my burger. Ick.

Hunger after I have eaten dinner and should be full! I want an end to that! Ha ha! You must have eaten at my sister in law's house. We pretty much have to stop at McDonald's or somewhere on the way there or on the way home, otherwise we're starving!

I really dislike the self serve fountain drink machines where there is a ton of options for each flavor. Then they all taste off due to the mixing of the flavors coming out of the machine.

I second Kale. Bleck. I've tried it multiple ways and just don't get it. It tastes awful! I'm a veggie eater and only have two in my list of won't eats, kale and asparagus.

I always let a little bit out before filling the cup. I've found it helps with "cleaning" out the previous flavor so it doesn't taste off.

I like or don't mind most of these, but I will agree with the teeny tiny sauce droplets or teaspoon of a "side."
On the other hand, I don't care for things drenched in sauce either.
Picky picky.

Oh and the salted caramel thing shouldn't go away, but some moderation would be nice. It has jumped the shark.

We pretty much have to stop at McDonald's or somewhere on the way there or on the way home, otherwise we're starving! I also want the inside voice to say ENOUGH EATING! And no more snacking. If you are hungry eat a carrot! Eat better, cut back on the bad carbs, increase the vegetables and protein. Being full at the end of a meal is normal and that's when you stop eating. I am sick of still being hungry and continuing to eat when I think I should be full. I used to eat so well, I want the junk food and comfort food fad I am on to end pronto. I want to go back to my strict eating to live not living to eat lifestyle back. I don't want to become a vegetarian. I don't like vegetables a whole lot. I will eat more of them if I had an ounce of self-discipline. I want the bread phenomenon to go away again. I want bread to be taboo. My problem is I LOVE bread. I love lots of kinds of bread. I also like pasta. A LOT. Dessert I can live without if I have my bread!

We don't all want or need to be gluten free, its okay to leave the original recipe alone.

When DH first bought a kale bagged salad kit from Costco, I said, "Isn't this the stuff they stick around the salad bar containers for decoration? You're not actually supposed to EAT it, are you?" It is pretty gross.
