Tell me who your team is, and how you expecting them to do this year. The more details, the better!
I'm a Steeler fan, and I'm pretty excited for this upcoming season. We have a lot of new blood and I've been hearing good things about the team. I was hoping they would re-sign Brett Kiesel for another season, because I think they could use his leadership on the defensive side, but what can you do, it is a business! We have a new O-line coach that sounds really good. I'm thinking we'll do better this year than last year. Too early to tell if we have Super Bowl potential, but as a fan I always think we do...lol.

New Yorker here who always rooted for the Jets. BUT this year since they hired Michael Vicks, I'll be rooting against them and becoming a Giants fan. For those who might not know, Michael Vicks was involved in gambling on pit bull fighting and actually served time in prison. He might have served his time, but I could never root for any team he was on. BOO NEW YORK JETS !!!!!!

49er fan - excited about a new year. Seahawks still going to be tough to beat. But I like the good attitude they are bringing to camp.
New draftee Jimmy Ward is already giving them a lot to brag about!

We have an unwritten rule in our home- no football talk or preseason games until Sept. - especially after living in Alabama for 4 years. For those who don't know of Alabma a football, it is a 24/7 topic there. We are breaking the no watching rule this year because the Texas A&M opener is Aug. 28th. Gig'Em!!

Bronco fan checking in. Lost a lot of good players (Eric cutie pie Decker for one) so it will be interesting for sure. Of course we have Peyton Manning.. so we got to be 1/2 way good. Although it will be a tough season as the owner just announced he was stepping down due to having Alzheimers and while I wasn't a huge fan of his, I feel pretty bad for him and his family. He's owned the team for over 30 years, has seven kids as well.

Diehard Washington Redskins fan here, and believe me, just showing up on the field will be better than their performance last year!!

Oh hell yea, I'm ready for some football. Florida State is poised to go back to back this season, and I could not be more excited to get this season rolling! Our QB is returning with an outstanding corp of receivers as well as a running game that will dominate any team on the field. We are so deep this year it is scary. We saw some lean years in Tallahassee, but it feels so good to be back on top. Wooohoooo!!!!

I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan. I was born in Minnesota (like the Vikings too), but I spent my formative football watching years (ages 6 to 12) in Dallas. I'm excited for the new season even though we didn't draft Johnny Football (big mistake imho).

Detroit fan, so I'm expecting the usual. Either they have a group of some of the most talented players that play the game, & still lose. Or they just plain old suck & manage to not win one game.
The true life of a Lion fan. If they can't get their shit together with the group they have now, seriously, I will know we are doomed.
Of course, I used to have my Michigan Wolverines to count on. Ehem.. So nice that that's now ruined too.
My post sounds negative, Detroit fans know no other way. Seriously, I want it to happen so bad for the Lions. Hopefully the new Coach can wrangle the big personalities & create a cohesive team that wins.

I've been a Seahawks fan since they first started. I even have all of the Topps football cards for their first 10+ years, including my prized Largent rookie card Our team is not the same as last years Super Bowl team, but everyone is still on a SB high so I'm looking forward to a great year.

Patriots fan!!!! Gronk and Wilfork and Mayo are back and healthy. The Pats made it to the NFC championship last year with a decimated team. If they can avoid major injuries (that's a big IF) then it's going to be an exciting year.

I think Johnny M will be all show and no go in the NFL. I just don't think his talent will translate well into the NFL.

My main team is the Crimson Tide and I cannot wait until August 30! I am very happy that Comcast just picked up the SEC Network. I am pulling for Bama to win the first national playoff. Roll Tide.
I'm also both a Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers fan, which I know is an abomination since they are huge rivals. But I didn't grow up in Chicago or Wisconsin so the hatred is not within me. I'm excited about the Bears because they have last year's improved offense coming back intact and they've done a lot of work on the defense in the off-season, and I just love Marc Trestman. And I'm excited about the Packers because I'm looking forward to seeing Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Eddie Lacy and Adrian Hubbard (my Bama boys!). I think the Bears are going to do well (I'm hoping for 10 wins), but I think the Packers are going to win the NFC North. It'd be great if the Bears get a wildcard slot so they're both in the playoffs.

I worked in North Chicago and half my co-workers were Bears fans and the other half were Packers fans. Being so close to the border meant we had a lot of Wisconsin employees!

Obviously not NFL, but..... We're at the end of our season in the AFL, there are 5 weeks to go before finals. My team Hawthorn won the Grand Final last year and I am hoping they go back-to-back this year. It looks like the Sydney Swans will be our biggest competition - we play them tonight.

High school varsity mom, here. Our season starts next week, with the parent meeting on Wednesday. I have a whole list of topics to go over with the coach before Wednesday. (Team mom.). This is DS's first year on varsity and he's a senior. It's gonna be a great season!

Not really a football fan. The only sport I genuinely care about is NHL hockey. That said, I`d love to see the Seahawks repeat.

We are fans of the Dallas Cowboys (Lots of new blood here as well.) May just end up being a learning year, Houston Texans and The Denver Bronco's. NO idea how the first 2 will do, but hopefully BOTH will do better than last year. Last year hurt bad! Denver has been pretty good and hopefully will continue to be. I hope that at LEAST ONE will be good. Tired of being disappointed.
