Part of what endears me to him is that he is very self-deprecating. He makes fun of his own looks quite a bit. I do think he's funny. I don't go out of my way to watch, but if I come upon his show, I don't change it.

I've never understood his appeal. He's not the highest on my creepy-o-meter, but he certainly registers.

Can someone explain the ick factor? I grew up surrounded by people who look similar to him - that kinda' see-through Irish look - so I don't see creepy. I have noticed that his hair looks a bit more extreme as his hairline recedes. I think he's very smart, and mostly funny, although I rarely watch talk shows. It's not the coloring for me. It's the coloring in combination with his bone structure and manner of holding his body -- he reminds me of a carved wooden marionette from 19th century Europe. Kinda like Pinnocchio. Add to that his whole awkward trying-too-hard self-deprecating schtick, and I just don't feel comfortable watching him.

I will admit that I had a big crush on him back in the day. Until my dh pointed out that he resembled our former neighbor, who (after he had moved away) had been arrested for exposing himself in a park.
That was the end of that for me--Though I always preferred to watch Conan over Jay or Dave. However, once he switched networks I just never watched him again. I wouldn't seek him out at this point.

My husband likes Conan, so I've seen a few shows. I don't like anything about him, other than Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. I don't know if I'd necessarily call him creepy, just, I don't know ...

I like him - I don't go out of my way to watch his show, but if someone is on I want to see, I'll watch. I think he's funny most of the time - and I always liked him better than Leno.

Ah - he makes me giggle. Very smart and very funny. I feel like he got a raw deal from Jay Leno - and I never ever ever would watch Jay Leno again. That said - I do love Jimmy Fallon!

I've always thought he was creepy. Not sure if it is the way he talks, or looks or what.
I don't think he is funny either.

He's a thousand time funnier than Leno ever was. I adore his awkwardness and creepiness. And he was definitely creepy in the sketches where he became a Mary Kay consultant and visited the american Girls store. ![:-*](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/kiss.png)

I love him!!!
I think it's awesome that he doesn't try to cover up his awkwardness. As a fellow awkward human, I truly do appreciate that.

That really sums it up for me. I think if I found him funny, he wouldn't creep me out as badly.
I'm a Craig Ferguson fan all the way.

I vote for creepy too. If he comes on before I can change the channel I mute the sound.

He doesn't creep me out, but I've never been a fan. He is too over the top and I prefer softer comedy.

Ahh man, I love Conan. DS and I saw him when he went on tour after he was fired from the Tonight show. I think he handled that very well considering what they put him through. One of my favorite quotes is from Conan. I do think he's very smart and funny and I'm pretty surprised that so many people think he's "creepy" ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/gFcgIuKyZogcCNuz36nO.jpg) ![](http://i.imgur.com/ObO98.gif)

I am in the "Not a huge fan but not creeped out by him" camp. He doesn't make me laugh, and uncomfortable at times. My one and only is the hilarious Craig Ferguson. I am going to be so sad once December comes along. I am beginning my grieving process now... I know that he is not for everyone, but he truly makes me laugh out loud (and loudly) so many times. I guess I am just an eighth grade boy at heart in the humor department. And yet he is an incredibly intelligent man, and I think has a huge heart. Every guest that I have ever seen on his show seem like they truly like the guy and enjoy all the zaniness of being there. He definitely doesn't have all the "A list" stars, but you can tell that those that are there want to be there and give great "interviews" (if you could call them that). ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png)
