Do you have one pair or multiple?
I can't wear contacts any longer they just hurt my eyes.
I just got a new pair of glasses but want another so I have options lol.

Right now I only have one pair. But if your prescription isn't expensive, or you can afford it, have more than one!

I only have one pair of whatever prescription is current. Then when I get an updated prescription I keep my previous two pairs as back up. I can't drive or do anything without glasses so I'm always worried about what might happen if they break.
I started working for an Optometrist a couple of years ago and I'm always surprised at how many people purchase multiple pairs. You wouldn't be the only one that wants different looks! I say go for it.

I just have one, but I wear contacts sometimes as well.
Have you checked out zennioptical.com? That's where I got my current glasses from, and they were only about $45...could get about 3-4 pair for what I typically pay for glasses.

I have two pairs but that's because one is my regular (distance) and one is reading/computer.
I was in a bit of a pickle Thursday because I forgot to put my reading/computer ones in my purse when I left for work. I lasted until lunchtime without them and went home with massive eyestrain. As soon as I got home, I put my old distance AND reading/computer glasses in my backpack in case this happened again (I just got new glasses around New Year's).

I wear contacts daily, but I do wear glasses maybe 1 day a week plus early morning/late night. I have several pairs. I've ordered 3 or 4 pairs from Zenni Optical and Coastal, and I'll never go back to buying $200+ glasses from the optometrist's office.
The ones from Zenni were cheaper feeling (and a lot cheaper to buy!), and the ones from Coastal were VERY high quality, more expensive but still about 1/3rd the cost of buying them from the optometrist's office. You need your Pupilary Distance, which your eye doctor should be willing to give you on your prescription. If you have a pair that already fit well, look for glasses with a similar width (will be printed on the arm of the glasses), and depending on how different of styles you want, maybe a similar height. Or at least use that for a gauge point. I found the "try these on" features on both websites to be quite accurate when I uploaded my picture.
I have a strong prescription and astigmatism too, so I got the upgraded lenses, and the cost still was so affordable.
I say have one or two really nice pairs and several less expensive pairs!!

I wear contacts, but I do have two pairs of glasses. I have my contacts in from when I wake up till usually 11pm. So I have glasses for the in between times. Or for if my allergies are just insane. I also have one older pair I keep at work in case I have a contact issue and need to switch.
Have as many pairs as you like. If I wore glasses full time I'd probably want several different colors and styles.

I'm another who lives zenni optical.com! I get compliments all the time on my glasses and I have a simple rx so my most expensive pair was about $35. I have at least a dozen pairs. They are more cheaply made but light on my face, I see fine and my oldest pair is over two years with no scratches or visible wear and tear so I think it's well worth it. I enjoy the variety more than I enjoyed a single, more expensive pair.

I wear contacts when I'm at work, working out, wanting to look my best, and/or when I need peripheral vision (driving anywhere farther than my neighborhood). But I wear my glasses every day around the house, or for quick trips to run errands, or when my eyes are tired, so I do wear them a lot. I have two pairs. One lives in my purse in case my contacts start bothering me, and the other in my bathroom.

I wear contacts most of the time, but also have two pairs of glasses.
My one pair are quite expensive and the other is from Warby Parker. I wore the Warbys for a while, but was constantly adjusting them and cleaning them (they got so dirty). I switched back to the ones I bought from my local optical shop and barely realize I'm wearing them. It's nice having options, though.

Zenni rocks! My last two pairs of glasses together were about $200. The pair before that, from the optician, was $750.
I have a complicated prescription, and I do need to get the most upgraded lenses possible for best results. I got a pair with cheaper lenses (it was a second pair of glasses, so I figured I didn't need to go all out), and they're pretty awful. To be fair, Zenni recommended the upgraded lenses based on my prescription, and I ignored it for that pair. Never again.
I need to get a new prescription soon. When I do, I'll head straight back to Zenni!

I have several pairs of glasses, not because they have to match my outfits but to leave around the house and in my handbag so there is always a pair near where I need them.

Two pairs, because I tend to take them off and then I can't see them to put them back on again! Cheap pair live in the bedroom so I always know where to find them

Mine are too expensive to have 2 pair. I was lucky enough that my prescription was stable long enough to get sunglasses. So I guess it's a second pair but not really. But I'd love to have a second regular pair.

I wear contacts mainly, so I have been 1 pair.
I have a colleague who has at least 5 pairs.

I have only 1 pair of glasses. I don't have another pair because they are really expensive and I am not a person who likes changes, meaning I kind of want to look the same all the time, so alternating glasses would annoy me, lol.
I tried wearing contacts, but I just never liked them.

1 pair. I'm not allowed to wear contacts, which is fine by me. I'm blind without my glasses so I have them on 100% of the time when awake except when I'm showering or drying my hair. I'm in love with my current frame (Candies SUBTLE leopard) but I'm not in love with the quality of the lenses this year. I want SWISSFLEX this year, but I have to go to a SWISSFLEX certified optometrist and the only one in my neighborhood doesn't take any type of insurance.

1 pair and they are always on my face and are very expensive (the lenses, not the frames).

Eta: I know Wear is spelled wrong in the title lol. It won't let me change it for some reason Ah, it's a typo!! I thought the thread was going to be "If you were glasses, where would you be hiding?" And you wanted out help in finding your lost glasses haha! I just recently started wearing glasses again (after 15 glasses/lens free years of lasik). I really resented having to wear glasses again, so I bought the cheapest pair I could find - which happened to be from the children's section - and they only cost me $50. Now that I've been wearing them for a few months I'm ready to upgrade so I can keep my cheapies as a spare. I have my eyes on a pair of funky Ronit Furst hand painted frames. only problem is, they cost $450! Luckily my SIL owns the optometry business so I'll be able to get a discount. How cool are these (if you like bright coloured frames):

I have one pair with progressive lenses, all the upgrades (polycarbonate, Crizal anti reflective, etc.) and one pair that is for just reading, with the Rx needed for that distance. It's much easier to lie in bed and read with those than the progressive lenses.

I have one pair of glasses because they're pretty expensive (high index lenses, anti reflective coating, progressive lenses). I sometimes wear contact lenses, but see myself wearing them less and less as time goes on. Hopefully I'll be able to invest in another pair of glasses soon.

1 pair of glasses, 1 pair prescription sunglasses. I have progressive lenses and glasses here in New Zealand set me back NZ$1300 so there's no way I'm buying extra before I need them

I have 4 pairs right now. One is sunglasses. I'm probably going to have to do the bifocal thing (I'll do progressives) at my next exam. I am thinking I will only have two pairs them. Sunglasses and everyday wear. I won't be able to afford progressive lenses for several pairs and don't think I would be able to get the measurements right for an online company.

My glasses are expensive. Those lenses are ridiculous. So I only have one pair right now. I had hoped to also have my previous pair, but I had a vertigo attach and tumbled down the stairs and scraped the hell out of them (and my face), so they were trashed.

I only had one pair of glasses and one pair of prescription sunglasses, because with my prescription and progressive lenses, they were way too expensive for another pair.
I just had cataract surgery with laser correction of my astigmatism and corrective lens implants. It's weird science! I have 20/20 vision, except for reading. I can tell I am going to need many pair of cheaters! I keep laying them down and having to hunt them up. That is where I thought this thread was going, lol. I was going to say "On the ironing board". That's where mine were about an hour ago.

I have one regular pair that I only need for driving or going to the movies (for distance) and a second pair that are prescription sunglasses that I leave in the car for when I'm driving during the day. They have the exact same frames, just different colored lenses.
